A great book
I like the book because the auther descibed the characters well. He descibed Nick the main character perfictly. It had so much imagrey.

The best part of the book is when Nick Lighter fell asleep with the jersey on during a monday night foot ball game and he found himself staring at sixty eight thousan fans at mile high stadium. He was Broncos legond John Elway.

The Describsion was great. The green grass,tons of fans,and the bright lights over the stadium. I like the conflict Nick aginst the best defence in football.

Nick being his favorite quarterback (John Elway) for a night is very good! The whole story is creative! I ~WOULD~ recommend this book!

Why I liked this book!
The story of how Nick became John Elway for a night is quite good! Although, I am not a football fan, I liked the story because of the funny situations, and the true feelings. I could understand what it would be liketo be Nick, and his efforts in vain to alert his friends to the change!Also, I liked the way it switched from Nick's point of view to that of hisfriends watching the game. Amazing & Inviting
I'm Reading This Book Called John Elway Armed And Dangerous. This Book Is Awesome And Takes Place In Mile High city Denver Colorado. This Story Is Recommended For All Ages Including Adults.It Is Insightful And Integrating The Story Of John Elway And His Struggle To Become the Greatest quarterback To Ever Play In The NFL.Jack Elway Is A Demanding And Powerful Father, He Is Who bringHim There.
The Writing Style Of The Book is done fantastically and is interlocking. The characters are well developed and I dislike the coaches that dislike John. The amazing part is that I live in the area of the stadium legends played in. I would recommend this book for any Elway fan or Denver Bronco fan. Like I said this book is amazing and inviting.

This book is a great read for Bronco and Elway fans of any age.Itchronicles the life of John Elway from the time he was a child, throughcollege and his joining of the Broncos, to his victory against the GreenBay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII.Black and white pictures are includedwith each chapter, and the center section 14 pages of color photos, aswell.The author (Clay Lattimer) is a sports writer for the Rocky MountainNews, and he also draws on Sports Illustrated, Becket Football Monthly, andeven Newsweek, as well as several other sports sources, so he packs a lotof information, dates, and statistics into each chapter.He also packs alot of superfluous detail, too -- the writing meanders a bit and doesn'talways stay on focus.But hey -- if you're an Elway fan (like me), whocares?The book is fun to read even in the places where it goes off topic. If there was such a thing as a "definitive" biography of anElway, this would probably be it.If you're an Elway fan, get this bookand enjoy it!

Elway's a winner!
This book lets the reader know what Elway's life was like from childhood to adulthood.It gives glimpses of him as a person as well as a football player.One important theme is that he hates to lose.He states that "one important thing I have noticed about people who are winners is that, to them, losing is always temporary."
I enjoyed reading this book very much.Once I started it, I really did get into it.It was hard to put it down, even though I was supposed to be sleeping.
The book's layout was really nice.Text boxes were set aside for John Elway's words, making me feel like I was truly talking to him.Each page had colorful pictures.This helped me see what he looked like throughout his life.I also enjoyed seeing the different uniforms he wore.
Another reason I liked the book is the humor that Elway uses throughout it.He makes fun of himself and the sthings he sometimes did.I enjoy reading humorous books.
I also enjoy reading about a football player.His early life was interesting to me because it seems to be a lot like mine.Reading about football players is a good way to encourage myself to do well in my sport.
I admire Elway's opinion that family is important.I know that my family means the world to me.During tough times, John Elway could rely on the love of his family.I enjoy knowing that he is a family man.
I think Elway could have done a better job describing his Super Bowl games.He didn't give a good description of the Super Bowl games he won or lost.There is only one text box with Super Bowl statistics.
If someone enjoys reading about sports they would enjoy reading this book.It could help an athlete to understand what it takes to be successful in the sport of football.Anyone who enjoys reading humorous books would enjoy reading this book.I highly recommend this book.

This book tells about John Elway's life from the beginning.He was raised to be a winner, but he also tells us that winning isn't everything.I liked how he showed that everything wasn't always easy and perfect for him.
