5-0 out of 5 stars Really Good!
he did whatever it took to stay in football. but, he just couldn't leave the drugs alone. he was a good player with it and, without it. would have been better if never used it i think. i met this guy twice growing up. he will always be one of my favorite players of all times. on the field and off the field i can relate to him a lot. not with drugs but, other things they talk about in the book is me also.

5-0 out of 5 stars HAIL TO DEXTER
I think this is a great book to read.Though Dexter choose his own destination, I will give him praise for being bold and brave enough to share with the world his reading and writing disabilities, family life and drug addiction.

I met Dexter one time in person and I wish that I would have read this book before our meeting, because he definately deserves a great big hug and a pat on the back.I am rooting for Dexter.

Last, this story/his book would and is a great inspiration for people with learn disabilities and for drug addicts. Dexter could have been the Michael Jordan of Football, but instead his choice was drugs, which destroyed his career in the NFL.Dexter is a big person to admit, he was the blame.

Great Read!! And I am not just saying that because I live in Washington, DC and I am a Redskins Fan.Go Number 72

4-0 out of 5 stars pupil becomes teacher
