Excerpt: Christopher Wesson Bosh (born March 24, 1984) is an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) who plays for the Toronto Raptors. Garnering an array of basketball accolades since his high school days, the power forward left college at Georgia Tech after one season to enter the 2003 NBA Draft. He was selected fourth overall by the Raptors in a very competitive draft class. Since his NBA career began Bosh has emerged as one of the most established young stars in the league. In the process, he has become a five-time NBA All-Star, been named to the All-NBA team, appeared for the US national team (with whom he won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics), and taken over former fan-favorite Vince Carter as the face and leader of the Raptors franchise. In the 200607 season, Bosh led the Raptors to their first NBA Playoffs berth in five years, and their first ever division title. He is Toronto's all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks, double doubles, free throws made and attempted, and minutes played. Owing to his initials and jersey number, Bosh is nicknamed "CB4", a name first coined by former Toronto Raptors play-by-play commentator Chuck Swirsky. Off the court, Bosh is noted for his p...More: http://booksllc.net/?id=537682 ... Read more

Excerpt: Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978)) is an American shooting guard who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bryant enjoyed a successful high school basketball career and made instant headlines when he decided to go directly into the NBA upon graduation. He was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. After O'Neal's departure following the 200304 season, Bryant became the cornerstone of the Lakers franchise. He led the NBA in scoring during the 200506 and 200607 seasons, setting numerous scoring records in the process. In 2006, Bryant scored a career high 81 points against the Toronto Raptors, the second highest number of points scored in a single game in NBA history, second only to Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point performance. He was awarded the regular season's Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) in the 200708 season and led his team to the 2008 NBA Finals as the first seed in the Western Conference. He won his fourth NBA championship in 2009, leading the Lakers to their fifteenth title and won his first Finals MVP award. In 2010, Bryant b...More: http://booksllc.net/?id=246185 ... Read more
