Fans of Tracy Cooper-Posey's diverse and unique work will be delighted to read her newest release, DIANA OF THE MOON. With the consummate skill readers have come to expect, Cooper-Posey presents a memorable tale of a woman's evolution.

Diana, daughter of the Roman Marcellus Aurelius, is named for the goddess of the moon and of the hunt. Alaric, a prince and cousin to Merlin, serves as an officer in his cousin Arthur the Pendragon's forces. If they survive, and if they can overcome their mutual enmities, they must find a way to link their destinies both for personal survival and for the survival of Britain.

The rise of Arthur brought forth the realization that the citizens of Britain who still viewed themselves as Roman citizens, as Diana's family does, must learn to look at old ways with new eyes or perish. Under Roman law a woman must marry or enter a convent when she passes marriageable age. Indeed, twenty-one year old Diana had preferred to lurk in the shadows and escape her parent's notice. But when a Saxon invasion deprives the family villa of all older members of the family, the governing of the land and its people falls to the previously ignored middle daughter. Over the course of a year, Diana creates a new place for herself in life as the leader and guardian of her household. Using her father's journals as guides, she ensures her people's survival in the face of starvation and invasion.

Arthur Pendragon brings a new hope for the future, according to Alaric. But when the soldier arrives, insistent upon setting one of a string of many beacons across Britain, Diana only acquiesces when Alaric threatens to use Roman law against her. Alaric warns of a Saxon invasion and works to unite the people of Britain under Arthur's protection. But the Roman inhabitants of Britain, abandoned for the last fifty years, still place their allegiance with Rome, scorning Britain's ... upstart.

Diana is outraged by the placement of the beacon upon her property. But she hasn't much choice when reminded that Roman women do not own property. Further, Diana soon will learn it isn't the British soldiers she need fear, but the plots of the other Roman citizens who view her position as weak, and her property ripe for the taking.

Diana's namesake, the old Roman goddess was both the hunter and the moon goddess. It will take all the skills both elements bring to overcome her adversaries, the threat of starvation, and a Saxon invasion. Not only must she protect those whom she shelters, but she must learn to trust herself and Alaric if she wishes to live a dream of equality rather than subservience. Rather than focusing on the past, as most Roman citizens do, Diana must learn to build a new future, and stay alive long enough to succeed.

Tracy Cooper-Posey has a remarkable narrative voice that lends itself perfectly to whatever genre she chooses. In her romantic tale EYES OF A STRANGER, her voice was smooth, silky with an underlying sensuality that bordered on decadence. Her Sherlock Holmes tale is almost appropriately British in tone; that is, very proper, logically articulate, and methodical.

With this marvelous tale she perfectly captures the strength of her incredible heroine in prose which is distinctive, sharp, crisp and yet powerfully feminine. This reviewer can hardly wait to see what genre this talent author tackles next; indeed, it seems nothing is beyond her pen's capacity.

It is 50 years after the last Roman legions have left Britain. Saxons are invading the land. After a raid that leaves much of her family dead, Diana is the only one left to run her family's estate. Although it is notpermitted, under the last vestiges of Roman law, for a woman to ownproperty, Diana has no choice - her older brother has already abandoned thefamily in order to follow a new leader - Arthur Pendragon. If she does nottake over, her people will die.

Alaric and his company of men are on amission for the Pendragon - set up a series of signal fires atop thetallest hills between Arthur's headquarters in Caer Leon and Eboracum. Whenthey come across an apparently abandoned Roman villa, Alaric thinks he hasfound the last vital link. Then he discovers the villa isn't abandoned; ahandful of skeletal people remain, their survival dependant upon one smallyoung woman of proud Roman descent, as fierce and stubborn as a feralkitten.

Diana has no intention of allowing these Celts -- the hatedArthur Pendragon's men, to boot! --to take over her estate. She canbarely manage to house and feed the few people that remain; Alaric and hisknights will fatally deplete their meager resources. Her abuse at the handsof the Saxons has left her with a desperate need to control, and a virulentfear of men. She and Alaric finally strike an uneasy bargain. Diana and her"guests" gain the unwanted attention of the bishop of Eboracum, who has cast his greedy eye on Diana's land. He decrees she must marry hisRoman nephew or risk losing her family's property altogether. Diana isforced to strike yet another bargain with her Celtic adversary --marriage.

Privately, Alaric and Diana each convince themselves they areonly marrying for mutual material advantage. Alaric guards his own darksecrets, and has good reason to guard his heart. Yet he finds himselffascinated by this fierce woman who seems at once drawn to and terrified ofhim. And Diana learns, through his gentle tutelage, what passion means.Alaric, Diana and their people begin to work together to rebuild the estate-- until Arthur recalls Alaric to Caer Leon.

DIANA BY THE MOON easilyranks as one of the best historical romances I have read this year. TracyCooper-Posey deftly blends historical detail with heart-touching romance, abeautifully rendered plot and compelling characters that will haunt you fordays after you read the last page.

Highly recommended for lovers ofhistorical romance. ... Read more

Tracy Cooper-Posey lends her unique voice to EYES OF A STRANGER. The tone of the romance remains sensual, intriguing, and beguiling right through to the end, making this reader want to remain within its romantic aura long after the last page is turned.

Anistasia Kirk, Anna, struggles to save an albatross, plummeting herself into a adventure with David Morgan, who sees past the cool business woman façade she attempts to maintain, to the erotic, sensually passionate woman. When he reawakens her passion long held in check, she leaves him, without even a name, to return to her normal life.

The following night she and her fiancé Hugh hold their engagement party, but Anna finds herself shocked when Hugh introduces the mysterious stranger from the night before as his best friend.

Anna finds it more and more difficult to repress her emotions in the ensuing months as she spends more time in David's company. The stubbornness that she turned into tenacity in the business world, the passion she squelched to remain professional, and the sensuality repressed beneath business suits and sensible heels threatens both her security in her self-created world, and her relationship with her father. As David continues to coax the smoldering passions within Anna to a flame, she finds herself torn between like her mother who died mysteriously years before, and the sensible woman she had vowed to become.

EYES OF A STRANGER is a marvelously sensual romance with a heady rush to the senses and is written with flare and panache. When David promises Anna "I am the only man with whom you can allow your nature free reign and I am the only man who understands and accepts you as you are," even the most jaded of readers can't help but be swept away.

5-0 out of 5 stars Definitely a keeper!
Not only is this a wonderful story with a deftly drawn cast of characters (without a single stereotype in the bunch!), its a beautifully written story. Her descriptions are richly textured and delightful. The endingsatisfied on every level. I also finished her Sherlock Homes Chronicles ofthe Lost Years and will be watching for more from this vastly talentedauthor. I just have to wonder where the print publishers were that let herget away from them. And I have to applaud the foresight of Hard Shell WordFactory in snapping her up. Don't let the electronic format stop you fromthis wonderful read. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Very Emotional Read!
Ms. Cooper-Posey is an author I purchase automatically. She continues to impress me with her emotional reads and characters that readers can truly understand and relate to."Eyes of a Stranger" is no exception.

Anastasia Kirk is living a life with no color or substance. She is trying to make herself fit into a mold that is not hers.Basically she is going out of her way not to be her mother. Her mother was passionate and vivid. She loved deeply and the relationship that she had with Anna's father was both passionate and destructive.Anna is a living breathing reminder for her father of all that he has lost.Anna has found a balance...or at least she thought she had a balance until one night after the theatre she meets her future.Dark and handsome David. After one kiss that leaves her shattered she walks away thinking she will never see him again. She has thought wrong...way wrong.

David is Hugh's best friend and he has come back from China to attend the engagement party and to meet the future bride. He is blown away when he walks into the party and is introduced to Anna. The one woman that managed to disarm him with just one kiss.He wants her for himself but he will not hurt his best friend for anything.Despite how careful he is he can't help but loose his heart to Anna. But will she realize that she loves him just as deeply and will she be strong enough to grasp the life that will truly make her happy?

Anna and David's story is an amazing read and one that I highly recommend.Trying to live down someone else's history is not easy and Anna is a complex character that fights what is her nature.David is just the person she needs to understand and support her on her discovey of self. This was a sensual read (and not in a graphic way) that will move and compel the reader to finish the story if only to see if Anna will get her happy ending. For a very entertaining read I highly recommend Ms. Cooper-Posey.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sure to please.
If you are looking for a sweet romance, DARE TO RETURN is sure to please.

Convincing dialogue and reactions had me rooting for the pair. Despite their stubborn pride, which comes through clearly through their actions, they both realize that their love has not diminished. Their inner struggles as they attempt to forgive and forget past mistakes are genuine and easy for the reader to appreciate. Surrounded by the descriptive narrative of coastal Australia, it was easy to imagine yourself sitting on the rocks as the surf crashed sending spray over your face.

4-0 out of 5 stars A fun read
"DARE TO RETURN is a reunion story, with a heroine who has matured and grown during the time apart. The hero is pretty much in the same spot as he used to be.Only with her advent does he start to at least question his thinking.I enjoyed the story, which has an easy tone and fairly light plot.Ms. Cooper-Posey's descriptions of the helicopters, of the rescue mission and of the Australian life in a tourist town are vivid, as is the scenery developed throughout the book.I can recommend DARE TO RETURN as a fun read, where the hero finally gets a clue." ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Story Of Emotional and Personal Growth!!!
This read is one of my favorites by Ms. Cooper-Posey.She has truly created a world that the reader will feel comfortable in and perhaps even be able to relate to.In any event this was a very strong emotional romance and a pleasure to read.

Vivien Galloway walked away from Paul and Gerraldton seven years earlier. She thinks that she has moved on...and in fact has as far as job and personal growth goes. Her heart though has not moved on and Vivien comes to this realization perhaps a tad to late. She's there to judge Paul's business and to see if he would be good for the position that he wants.Paul thinks she can't be unbias...Viven doesn't think it's going to be a problem...but than again she could be wrong. She still loves him and is seems as if he's moved on...but not everything is what it seems and Vivien should remember that.

Paul can't believe his eyes when he sees Vivien for the first time in seven years. The pretty young girl that she was has turned into a very beautiful self assured lady. When he realizes why she's returned he has mixed feelings. They have a past that they need to work out. When she left him so many years earlier she left a dark deep hole that almost swallowed him. Add to the fact he doesn't know why she up and left, and he wants to know why?But will they be able to walk away from each other or will the passion and love that they felt for each other carry on?

Through the use of flashbacks and memories Ms. Cooper-Posey constructs the background of both Paul and Vivien. This story was totally captivating and held this readers interest until the final page.I love romances where the hero and heroine share a past.Ms. Cooper-Posey easily brought to vivid life the romance between these two very dynamic characters.Without a doubt this is a treat for romance readers.
