My Daughter loves these books!
Perfect for younger kids. My 5 1/2 year old loves all the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books (it is always either Mrs Piggle-Wiggle or Skippy John Jones) and anything that excites a young one about reading gets a big thumbs up in my book!Highly reccomended

Not Very Modern
It seems that Betty McDonald's daughter completely failed to bring this series up to date. You'd think it was in the 60s. It's very good reading though, just not very modern.

entertaining
This is certainly an entertaining book, which I read to my 6-year-olds, but it's not as good as Mrs. Piggle Wiggle or Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's Magic.It doesn't have the same magic.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle!--A Noble Effort
I have been a fan of Betty MacDonald for many years, and as such I found the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle stories particularly delightful. She died almost half a century ago and so I was excited and astounded to discover her "new" book (actually written by her daughter Anne, but based on Mom's notes).
The book certainly lacks the charm of the original stories, but I still am impressed by the effort put forth in issuing it. If not as humorous and entertaining as the first three books, it still is a worthwhile read.

My 9 year old neice loved this book.It was the perfect Christmas gift.

Just as I remember it!!
I hadn't thought of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle in years until my roommate and I were up late one night talking about books we loved as a child.She had never heard of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle--I was Shocked!!I had to get it and we both agree it still holds up after all this time!

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's Treasury
Book collection as I remembered it from childhood.A little outdated with terms and phrases, but still great to read to children and keeps my son's interest (4.5 years old).Chapters about 12-15 minutes long when read out loud.Perfect for bed time.

Classic children's fun
A classic book that I read to my younger siblings after reading many times myself - fun, with some upside-down wisdom in every chapter of the surprises of the delightful Miss Piggle Wiggle. Teachers are recommending this book for 2nd graders, and I am pleased.

A good friend seen again

Wonderful Mrs. Piggle Wiggle
We LOVE Mrs. Piggle Wiggle and her stories.I started reading them to my daughter in 1st grade and now, in 2nd grade, she likes to read them to herself.I only wish there were more books, because stories this good are impossible to find.

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle Boxed Set
I loved these books when I was young and when I had children of my own I remembered them but couldn't think of the name. I told the basic story to a librarian and she immediately knew which book I was trying to find. They are funny and very appealing to children, plus they have good life lessons. Great for reading aloud. True classics!
