Meeting the family
If you have not yet met Dave and Morley, you need to do so.Stuart McLean created this family and keeps the fun coming with endless adventures.It is like a phone call home to Mom to hear about all the wacky relatives.The stories are hysterical but always have that touch of humanity about them that makes McLean such an incredible story teller.

I'm a fan of the writer, but this book has the feel of being put together over a long night with a few cups of coffee and making it up as he went along.

Dave and Morley rock!
I am a huge fan of Stuart Maclean,and as a fellow Canadian, I find his humor especially funny. His stories of dave and morley, are the greatest... I have read them in print, listened to him on CBC, and enjoy all of his discs....if you like good old fashioned 'hit the heart' humor, this is for you- he reminds me of me,my life,or people I know with each tale.....His characters stay with you a long time!

I Love A Good Story
I just wish Ihad one to tell you.You see, I bought this for my wife.It was to be a Valentines Day present to go along with a nice red Rose.The package arrived in plenty of time. I got it wrapped up and had a fresh red Rose to go with it.She always listens to the Vinyl Cafe' on her car radio, so I thought that she could enjoy this gift anytime she wanted.Well here it is, weeks later, and she hasn't even opened it.

You can see above that I gave this product 5 stars.I did that because I have heard the Vinyl Cafe' on the radio and it is great.Amazon also gets 5 stars from me as when I tried to buy this CD directly from the Vinyl Cafe' all I ever got was a recording that said they weren't answering their phones.(Not a good plan for a business)

Anyway, I'm hoping that some day in the future my wife will discover her un-opened gift, still laying on the shelf in the Den, and be surprised all over again.She will open it and hear a great story teller.

I, in the mean time, will try and find the perfect gift for her birthday.
