Superb
This is a superb rendition of descent into madness. A frightening play. What makes it even more interesting to me is that it is about literary siblings Mary and Charles Lamb, whose "Tales of Shakespeare" is still in print, over a hundred years after publication. An additional bonus is that the Lambs were friends of Aaron Burr, about whom I've done numerous reviews. ... Read more

This Just In: Beans No Longer the Magical Fruit
Finally, the book for my own unique fettish with the wonderful world of potatoes.This is a whole book, with pictures and everything, devoted to man's single greatest invention, the potato.Does life get any better thanthis?I guess potatoes aren't really inventions but I still loved thisbook.It taught me things to do with potatoes that I had thought wereillegal in most states.We're talking everything from potato a la mode(that's right, potatoes and ice cream!)to potato popsicles (delicious withjust a hint of paprika by the way).Put simply, this instructional bookteaches not only the cook, but the lover, the intellect, and the soul allat the same time.The heavens were smiling upon us when they dropped"Cooking with Poatatoes" from above.
