5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Outstanding Book!
From the day I received this book I could not put it down. The pictures are fabulous! This is a large book (15"x11") so the pictures just pour out onto the page. This book takes you from conception to the final placement of the cauldron. If you loved the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics, then this book will have a special place in your heart. My wife and I carried the torch for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games so this book was a must have. This book reads easily and is an insiders look into what it takes to produce a cauldron for the Olympics. All the people at Wet Design worked incredibly hard and long hours to produce this cauldron. This book shows you every aspect to building one. These books are limited so don't wait. You will not be disappointed.

Product Description
Many nations around the globe are unable to experience a change in government without violence and bloodshed, but in America a peaceful transition from one presidential administration to the next has always been the case. Regardless of the bitterness surrounding a campaign like the 2000 election, the United States went through no coups or forcible attempts to hinder the change from the Clinton to Bush administrations. While such a state is important to a democracy, and indeed a rarity when compared to the rest of the world, Americans often take for granted the transition process. Behind this stable exterior, though, is a regulated process to ensure the orderly continuation of government. The president-elect has fewer than eleven weeks between election and inauguration, making the need for a defined process clear. Several pieces of legislation have been enacted to oversee all aspects of executive branch workings in anticipation of the new president.

This book takes a close look at how the transition process has taken shape and been applied to each administration change since John F. Kennedy's election in 1960. Included are presentations and examinations of legislation pertaining to the transition process, the text of the major laws, and general considerations for the presidential transition process. Anyone hoping to understand one of American democracy's most shining characteristics, the peaceful change in governments, needs to be familiar with the material discussed here. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars A severely overpriced pamphlet
There are only a handful of pages on committees. The remainder of the "book" is composed of appendices of statutes that serve as examples. It's definitely a waste of money. Statutes are obviousily available online, and most (if not all) of the information from the text can be obtained from the General Services Administration Web site. ... Read more

Product Description
Jenna Tierney faces numerous changes in her life after the murder of her sister Laura. She is disgusted with herself for being attracted to the detective investigating her sister’s murder. In the end she will have to trust him in order to save her life.

Detective Michael Johnson is more than a little attracted to Jenna Tierney. At first he fights his feelings for Jenna and tries to focus on Laura Tierney’s murder case.It doesn’t help that his partner Mack is constantly ribbing him about his obvious attraction for Jenna.

Michael breaks several rules to be with Jenna, first and foremost getting involved with the victim’s sister. His partner Mack comes across an old case file involving Jenna and her sister Laura. The case was dismissed but Michael thinks something happened that may be relevant to Laura’s murder case. Someone has a lot to hide and Jenna may be the next victim.

(For adult audiences, sexually explicit)
Excerpt:
“Please call me Michael”

“Detective…Michael, sorry this seems a little weird, why don’t I just tell you everything I know, and we’ll take it from there. The men in Laura’s address book are probably all the above; Laura loved sex and she like variety, the rules for her sex life were simple she liked her men straight, single, interested in sex only.”

Michael couldn’t take his eyes off her, it was a mistake coming here today, but he couldn’t help himself for asking.“Do those rules apply to you as well Jenna?”Michael couldn’t contain his desire for Jenna.

For a moment Jenna lost her train of thought, her eyes were trapped in his piercing gaze.Surely Detective Johnson wasn’t hitting on her while questioning her about her sister’s murder.Even worse she liked it, her skin felt flushed, and she was creaming in her panties thinking about the very large penis that grazed her bottom yesterday.“Detective Johnson we’re getting way off track, we were talking about my sister’s sex life not mine. Laura didn’t let any of her lovers stay the night, I’d be surprised if she ever invited any of them home; she wanted sex for sex’s sake and nothing else.Laura didn’t have that one special person in her life; she had numerous people that she gave bits of herself to.”

“Sorry Jenna, I wasn’t judging Laura’s lifestyle, but we have a whole address book full of possible suspects. Is there anyone who wanted to be more than a lover, someone serious enough to kill her because he couldn’t have her to himself?”

Jenna buried her face in her hands, looking at things from Michael’s point of view; the list of suspects could be in the hundreds.“I haven’t met any of my sister’s lovers that I know of, but recently she’s been involved with two brothers they own a company called Hughes Construction.”

Ah hell, Michael thought to himself, the Hughes Corporation was one of the largest construction companies in the Mid-west. “That’s a start Jenna, I’ll be in touch, and it would help if you picked up your phone.I left several messages before coming over today.”

Jenna didn’t want to be alone right now; there was something about Detective Johnson that made her think of satin sheets, spankings, and his hard cock tunneling through her pussy. “Michael would you like to stay for dinner?”

“Jenna.”Michael groaned her name out loud.“The man in me would like nothing better than to stay with you, but if I stayed I’d want more than dinner.I won’t be satisfied until my cock is balls deep inside you.I’m investigating your sister’s murder; I can’t let my attraction for you jeopardize this case in any way.”

Jenna felt the heat of embarrassment brush across her face, “I’m sorry detective, you’re right, sex between us would be totally inappropriate.”

“Jenna don’t be embarrassed, the attraction is mutual.”Michael traced her lips with his thumb.

4-0 out of 5 stars Change of Pace
I read this book a couple of weeks ago because a friend recommended it, and it was a quick read and the characters were well established.Jena's sister is murdered and she finds herself attracted to the detective working the case. There's a big family secret that comes to light during the investigation that has bearing on the sister's murder. The end was shocking to me, just goes to show that rich people have dysfunctional families just like everyone else.

Detective Johnson is sexy and I love the relationship between him and Jena.I haven't read anything else by this author, but I would put her on my list of authors' to re-visit again.
