Absolutely Outstanding Book!

There are only a handful of pages on committees. The remainder of the "book" is composed of appendices of statutes that serve as examples. It's definitely a waste of money. Change of Pace
I read this book a couple of weeks ago because a friend recommended it, and it was a quick read and the characters were well established.Jena's sister is murdered and she finds herself attracted to the detective working the case.There's a big family secret that comes to light during the investigation that has bearing on the sister's murder. The end was shocking to me, just goes to show that rich people have dysfunctional families just like everyone else.

Detective Johnson is sexy and I love the relationship between him and Jena.I haven't read anything else by this author, but I would put her on my list of authors' to re-visit again.
