I thought this was a great book and it was a very creative and
imaginative book.I think the author did a wonderful job on this book and had some really great ideas for this book.I hope everybody will read this story.This book was about a girl who didn't like her life at all and one day she starts to scratch her arm and when she gets home sha finds out she has the chickenpox.So she cuts off all her hair. ... nice to learn about historical recipes
My 9 year old granddaughter loves cooking and her American Girl doll. While she does not have this particular doll, I bought her this cookbook so she can learn about what dining and recipes were like in the past.

I bought her several other craft and cookbooks in the same series and she is really enjoying them.
