He/she should have expertise in watershed modeling. He/she should have the desire to solve complex, real-world problems related to topics such as runoff and drainage processes, non-point source pollution, riparian zone processes, stream geochemical dynamics, fate and transport or other topics relevant to multi-use watershed systems. We are particularly interested in individuals whose research couples theory and practice and who would like to work in a highly interdisciplinary program with faculty conducting field scale research projects. As a member of the faculty in the Department of Agronomy, he/she will be expected to contribute to disciplinary degree programs as well as to work with faculty in The Environmental Sciences and Engineering Institute. The successful candidate is expected to establish a creative, extramurally funded research program in watershed hydrology. He/she will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in watershed hydrology, water quality assessment, and related topics.
