Extractions: JOB POSTING FAQ I have been pre-registered as an employer on AsiAmEDia.com. How do I post a job? It's actually quite simple once you've done it once. Just follow these steps: Start at the main Jobs directory at http://asiamedia.com/Jobs/ Find the "Login" link at the upper lefthand corner, then click it. When you get the dialogue box, enter the username and password, then click the "Log me in" button at the bottom of the page. That will return you to the main Jobs directory. The only difference will be that you will now see on the upper lefthand corner of the page the words "Logged in as [your username]". Using the hierarchical jobs directory on the right side of the page, click the specialty area into which you want to enter the posting. Once you are in the specialty area, find the red "Post Job" link on the lower right hand corner and click. Start by inputting the Job Title (e.g. Sr Systems Engineer, E-Commerce). Go to the second box and input the Job Location. (e.g. New York, NY). Type or cut and paste the main job information into the large text input box.

BY GREG BRAXTON, TIMES STAFF WRITER Television networks are still a week away from announcing their new fall shows, but the first volley blasting them for an apparent lack of diversity in the new series has already been fired. The Asian Pacific American Media Coalition, part of a group of ethnic civil rights organizations, including the NAACP, which came together last year to press for more diversity in the television industry, has formally complained to CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox about not including Asian Pacific Americans in the casts of pilots for those networks' new comedies and dramas. The group based its conclusion in part on an analysis of the networks' early development kits that were issued in late March. Those kits contained short descriptions of shows being developed and some of the performers cast in the shows. The kits were issued before casting on the shows was completed.
