Indian traditions tell of many "houses" seen on Pacific waters. Chinese history, too, tells a charming account of voyages to the land of Fusang. Even old Spanish documents describe oriental ships off the Mexican coast in 1576. Japanese explorers and traders evidently left steel blades in Alaska and their distinctive pottery in Ecuador. Recent underwater explorations off the California coast have yielded stone artifacts that seem to be anchors and line weights (messenger stones?). One line weight found at 2,000 fathoms is covered with enough manganese to suggest great antiquity. The style and type of stone point to Chinese origins for all these artifacts. Apparently, vessels from the Orient were riding the Japanese Current to North American shores long before the Vikings and Columbus reached the continent. Extractions: The satellite data are applied for a variety of many fields including archeology filed however there are some limitations such as the insufficient resolution of the detail for ancient palace reconstruction, the unselected weather etc. To solve that limitation, this paper proposes the new way for a filed observation. The commercial digital CCD camera is mounted with the wing of the light plane based on the principle of the traditional aerial photograph. The digital image is the result from this observation. Also this digital image is the near vertical image to correct the geometry easily in the further processing. For an archeology field such as ancient palace visualized mapping, this proposed method is able to obtain the near vertical digital image, like the traditional aerial photograph and is flexible to process, unlike the traditional aerial photograph as well as is cheaper than the high-resolution image from satellite.

It lay there for more than 500 years, buffeted by currents, eroded by the salt water and increasingly encrusted with coral and barnacles. Then, in June 1993, pearl-farm worker Eduardo Gordevilla dived to the sea bed to look for a missing oyster basket. What he found could change the way Filipinos think about themselves. On board the wreck of the Chinese vessel was a treasure trove of some 4,722 pieces that included Thai stoneware, Vietnamese ceramics and Chinese coins minted from gold almost all perfectly intact. But, as exciting as the cargo was, the experts possibly realized that the most valuable discovery on board that ill-fated ship was tangible evidence that the Philippines was once a core part of an extensive Asian trading network.

Extractions: From 1976 to 1982, archeologists excavated a rich cargo from a submerged wreck near Shinan, and this initial work was followed by excavation and recovery of the ship's remaining structure. These remains are now undergoing conservation treatment at the Mokpo Conservation and Restoration Center of South Korea's Cultural Properties Research Institute, and a one-fifth-scale model has been built at the Mokpo Center to aid in the analysis of the ship's structure. Experts dated the shipwreck to 1323 using an associated wooden cargo tag and coins, the latest of which were minted in 1310 and may be of South Chinese origin. So far, this ship's cargo has attracted the most attention. The cargo included at least 16,000 ceramic items and over seven million brass-bronze coins (totaling over 26 tons). These coins provided a dramatic example of recycling and reuse in the archeological record, since the oldest coin in this collection dated to A.D. 14.
