Excellent Development Tool and Refresher for Leaderhip
This book is an excellent resource for developing individuals in a wide range of leadership roles- supervisor, manager, director and above.It is also a great book to recalibrate even the more seasoned leader.Mike's style is very focused, grounded, and practical.Additionally, Mike does not overlook the ethical standards leadership and front-line staff must uphold in their work and in their dealings with others.I have used material from Mike for nearly 15 years and find it to be some of the best gifts to share with leadership and front-line staff alike.

What you accept is what you teach: setting standards for employee accountability
This is an excellent book with great ideas for dealing with "different" personalities in your work area. I have recommending this book to at least 10 people since I bought it.

Management 101
This is a good book for a new Manager or a small company. It has some good practical tips on managing difficult personalities, setting expectations and performance management. Being a more experienced Manager, I was looking for something a little more in depth and high level and was a bit disappointed when reading this book. If you are looking for a good, how to get started as a Manager book then I would recommend this. If you are an experienced Manager than you have most likely alreay heard the principles this book has to offer.

Excellent resource
This book is an excellent resource and training tool.I read it, then decided to use it to train my front line team of charge nurses.It has provided us with a clearer vision of how our addressing issues with staff greatly impacts how we reach our vision, and has helped me see how holding my leadership team to a standard (without anger or feeling as if I am asking too much of them) greatly impacts us reaching our vision.Thanks for an excellent, clearcut training tool!
