5-0 out of 5 stars Great ideas!
The book came on time and in great condition. I am loving the ideas in the book. Thanks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Project: Organization
The information in this book is very helpful! I have heard Marie Ricks speak and she is a master at organization. As we just moved into a new and larger house, I wanted to get set up right. This has been just great.

5-0 out of 5 stars Helpful, Concise, Motivating
"Organization is a process, not a product." This book helps the reader understand the process. Marie gives directions for simple projects to tackle one at a time (such as creating an efficient "spares" box) to help you develop habits of an organized life. Her chapter titles (such as "pick it up, don't pass it by") stick with you, reminding you of your weekly goal.

If you already have all the principles of this book down, you probably don't need an organization book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Did your mom only make you take the trash out?
Did your mom do all of the house work and not teach you?
Mine did.I took out the trash, and cleaned the bathroom once in a while.I just did not learn the skills.
I love to have a clean home, but it just did not come naturally to me.
I enjoyed Marie's lecture series and love her book "House of Order Handbook, The Best Way to an Organized Life."She has a great web site that goes with these books also.

Marie spends a lot of time in homes as a professional consultant. She has seen the messes that people are harboring. She talks to women like me who desire order. They just did not previously have the tools, systems and routines to keep their homes in the kind of condition they would like it to be in.
Marie told us at our class one day that the Super Moms are only 10 percent more organized than most of us.I am finding that she is right. She has taught me how to better use my time and get more from it.

Marie breaks the tasks down and makes getting organized managable.
Marie is that trusted friend that we all need to help us get through the mess. Your life got messy over time and Marie helps you to get through it over time.

Hooray for Marie!Thank you Marie for helping me to change the way that I think about organization.Thank you for helping me to restructure my routines and be more efficient.Thank you for helping me do what my mother could not.
I hope that you enjoy her books!

Marianne

3-0 out of 5 stars Just "OK"
I purchased this book because Dr. Laura was promoting it on her radio show.I found it to be extremely elementary! The circle of organization to disorganization is kind of rediculous. This might be a better book for teenagers as opposed to women or men who run a household.I am not saying that there is no worth to this book, only that it is rather simple minded. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars More fluff and repetition rather than substance
This book has some good information, but there is a lot of fluff and repetition, as well as empty pages for you to write notes on after every chapter. If the book were printed properly without so much double-spacing and blank pages, it would be less than half the size.

The book seems to be directed at parents, yet the authors write as if children are the readers. As an adult reading it, the writing style gets annoying rather quickly. And if your child is a sophisticated reader, he or she will probably be annoyed by it as well.

Product Description
If you are like most people today, you feel that you have too little time and too much to do.As a result, you often end up not getting the things done that are needed to be done. And even little things grow into a mountain of work that you feel you can never climb.

I used to be very unorganized. On all of my report cards that I received as a kid, the teacher always made that cute little comment "needs to get organized." I had a desk that was a mess at school and a room that was a mess at home. One day, the teacher dumped out everything in my desk on the floor in front of the class and told me to pick it up. I can still feel the sting of that humiliation.

My mother was not as cruel. She would clean my room so that the Board of Health didn't come in and condemn our house. Both of these people tried to help me get organized, but neither one of them really helped me at all. My teacher used drastic and humiliating tactics that didn't work but just made me upset, and my mother did the work for me instead of making me do it myself. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how to get organized, why it was so important and how to teach my own children how they could stay organized as well.

The purpose of this book is not just to tell you how to clean your home or desk so that everything is where you can find it, but also how to organize your life so that it is easy to manage and you do not feel overwhelmed. Although I eventually realized that it was much easier to have my important papers at a place that I could find them and the value of having a home that didn't look like a pigsty, my mind was unorganized throughout much of my life.My kids were forever joining activities and I was forever driving them around to different events after school while trying to maintain a job as well as my home. I often felt like a hamster on a wheel. It wasn't until much later when I learned not only how to organize my home and work place, but also my mind.

This book will teach you how to organize every aspect of your life - from your home, your work and even your life.It will also teach you some valuable tips and teaching secrets that you can pass on to your children so that they can learn the value of organization as well. You will learn valuable lessons on organization that you can use to keep your life in order and avoid feeling overwhelmed all of the time as well as read some anecdotes that perhaps you can relate to.

It will also teach you how you can stay organized even when things occur that throw you off your routine. We are not robots, we're humans. And as everyone knows, we have things that come up that are unpredictable that can throw us off our kilter. You want to be organized, but you do not want to be so rigid in that you cannot handle a break in the routine without, as the kids nowadays say "tweeking out."

The WHO Guidelines on Hand Hygiene in Health Care provide health-care workers (HCWs), hospital administrators and health authorities with a thorough review of evidence on hand hygiene in health care and specific recommendations to improve practices and reduce transmission of pathogenic microorganisms to patients and HCWs. The present Guidelines are intended to be implemented in any situation in which health care is delivered either to a patient or to a specific group in a population.
