From the supplier: Ron Freeman won the Republican party's congressional primary for Kansas City in 1994 after an unsuccessful try in 1992. Freeman, an African American, was a newcomer in politics who had strong ties with the radical religious right under the banner of the Christian Coalition. However, he denied any links with the coalition. The people may not have believed him when he was defeated by Karen McCarthy, who was supported by other Christian groups as well as by Jesse Jackson.

From the supplier: The burgeoning militia movement in Missouri has produced candidates for the primary ballots in Aug. 1996 and is expected to come up with candidates once again in Nov. 1996. Supporters of the militia faction appreciate the anti-establishment message that these political hopefuls convey. However, others warn that these candidates falsely portray themselves as moderate when, in fact, they hold extremist views on abortion, education, taxes, immigration and right to bear arms. The new media should step up its effort to expose these militia people for what they really are.
