The mission of the Council is to advise and assist state government in matters pertaining to preschool children with (or at risk of) developmental delays/disabilities. The Council serves in this advisory role to the two lead agencies responsible for administering Part C of IDEA (KDHE) and Part B of IDEA (KSDE). This site is a collaborative effort among three states: the State Departments of Education of Connecticut (CT) and Minnesota (MN) and the University of Kansas (KU) to use the World Wide Web (WWW) as a means of supporting and facilitating training.
