Hey, this site is viewable on any Internet device, but will certainly look better on one that supports web standards. Get with the program! Search: I was watching Monster Jam on TNN a couple of weeks ago. I dont know why either its not the sort of thing I usually watch, but perhaps Junkyard Wars has affected me more than I thought. Monster Jam , for those of you who are confused, is a solid hour of monster trucks - driving around, jumping over crushed cars, and occasionally stomping a poor, decorative tree, and that sort of thing. Actually, you dont really watch monster trucks on TV, rather you sort of stare at them, dully, until one of them nearly flips, or blows an axel joint, or whatever, and then you go Ooooooo! So you can imagine me, just staring blankly at the TV, when Guy Woods gets interviewed. Woods is the owner and driver of Bulldozer . All monster trucks have a catchy name, which is usually accompanied by a motif matching paint job or body shell. Bulldozer however, is one of a handful of trucks that takes this characterization of the trucks to a new level. You see, Bulldozer is very bull-like horns, crazy bull grin, and a nose over the grillwork that snorts smoke. None of this is on my mind of course - Im staring like and idiot remember. But slowly his voice is starting to seep through. Hes talking about the exciting 3D nature of the truck (referring to its crazy body shape, not its actual existence in the third dimension) how kids love it, how its a crowd pleaser, how he loves the cheers of the crowd when he pulls off a good run and blows the smoke. And then it hits me

"At that age, you want to be having fun with your friends and not going for a practice," he said smiling. But thanks to his father's insistence, Sandoval is today a cultural ambassador of Mexico, trotting the globe with a group of veteran musicians who give concerts at packed coliseums to deliver the heart and soul of their country through songs like "La negra," "El carretero," "El tren" and "Fiesta en el corazón." Sandoval and Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán will be in Laredo for the first time April 26 in a concert at the Laredo Entertainment Center benefitting TAMIU students. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and the public will have an opportunity to know in-depth the group that sealed its name in history with appearances along Mexico's artistic powerhouses like Lola Beltrán, Pedro Infante, José Alfredo Jiménez and Miguel Aceves Mejía. Mariachi Vargas' appearance comes through a generous partnership by sponsors Sames Motor Company, Ford Motor Credit, Ford Salute to Education, the Laredo Entertainment Center and TAMIU.
Foocha! Outspoken Entertainment Reviews As such, monster trucks are very accurately monikered. But what aboutthat other factor so important in the monster trucks appeal? http://www.foocha.com/publisher/public/doc/suffix/Talk/foochafifty-1999-01-16.ht
Extractions: As such, Monster Trucks are very accurately monikered. Like many of their counterparts, Monster Trucks are mutated: they began with a humble, everyday existence, and via a series of alterations they evolved into the towering bemouths we see today. And like the genesis of certain semi-namesakes, the first step of creation just fell into place.

August 29, 2001 "I am so very excited about my long-term agreement with Clear Channel and the Monster Truck Race Team both personally and professionally. I feel the USHRA and the Monster Jam Series is a fan-friendly, family oriented and cost-effective brand of entertainment that I want to associate with for a long time. This is a dream come true" . This dream does not come without a price. It is estimated that in 2002 about $500,000 from his $15.75 Million NBA salary will go towards keeping the team competitive while traveling throughout the country. Don't be fooled however, his Utah Jazz teammates still have a big interest in Malone playing basketball. In his absence Malone has hired Chad Fortune (a former NFL Chicago Bears star and WCW Nitro Monster Truck driver) to compete with the truck under the supervision of crewmember Kelly Gordon. Fortune knows Malone's attitude is that of serious competition and he is out to win. Gearing up for a hard and strong 2002 season representing a new area of fans, Fortune says is a challenge that he is ready to tackle. The announcement that took place in the Delta Center had Karl's truck wearing a white 2001 Chevy body with the Power Forward Special Events website to learn more about the happenings that weekend.

This past month PACE Motor Sports debuted their brand new Wrestle Truck during the 1999 International Licensing Show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. With red, yellow and orange flames twisting down the body a '99 Ford Aerostar Van body sits atop a Grave Digger chassis disguised behind black paint. Deemed the WCW Nitro Machine this truck should be pretty "hot" on the track, although a driver has not been chosen yet. There will be more Wrestle Trucks on their way by mid summer as soon as PACE and WCW get their plans and designs finalized. Most of the trucks will be based on popular characters that appear on the WCW series. So after the 1998 TNN Motor Madness series received such negative reactions by having one wrestler mixed in with the Monster Truck atmosphere, we can't help but be surprized that PACE is going to try mixing these two themes again by adding the character personalities to the actual Monster Trucks this time. The trucks will travel the country and compete with all the regular names on the circuit as PACE is reluctant to start a separate series exclusively for the Wrestle Trucks at such an early stage in their development.
