2-0 out of 5 stars Give it a wide berth.
The problems are too difficult and full of typos. I really had higher expectations from Kaplan. Its great if you want to learn additional math skills but I only wanted to learn math for the Gmat.

However, on the slightly positive side, the tests are great for learning the pacing and format that the test will be in and knowing that is half the battle. Whatever you do, though, don't trust the scores. The rumors that the Kaplan tests will score you 100-150 points lower than the actual exam are 100% true!

1-0 out of 5 stars Typos, typos, and MORE F-ING TYPOS!!
I'm nearing the end of the math portion of the book and I've counted at least 5 times where the book's math was wrong.Errors were in the reviews, the problems, and the explanations of the answers.I would let grammatical and spelling errors slide, but when there's a 4 instead of a 2 or a plus instead of a minus or a square-root of 2 where there should be a square root of 3, I'm going to get pissed off.Don't buy this book if you're not well-versed in math.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst Buy
Mistakes everywhere in the Math Review!Very difficult to study when the answers and questions have typos. Kaplan did you actually proof read this before you published it?For a company that is supposed to be so great what a disappointed.I will never buy Kaplan, nor suggest that anyone ever buy Kaplan.

1-0 out of 5 stars Shameful
As has been said in countless reviews here, this book is diabolical. It is littered with mistakes, and the explanations are woeful. Many of the answers just say that a specific choice is "wrong", without an actual explanation. While that is frustrating, it's not in the same league as the basic printing errors.

If any test taker made as many mistakes on their test as they do in this prep book, they'd be looking at a 400!

And of course, when you raise this with Kaplan "Customer Service"...silence. They're crooks.

Pathetic.

Editorial Review

Product Description
Recognized and respected for both its inclusion of cutting edge material and for its strong strategic managerial approach, this is one of the most comprehensive and challenging, yet approachable and understandable legal environments texts on the market. It is equally suitable for students with substantial work experience as well as for those who are studying business for the first time. The text fully looks at the subject matter from the perspective of current and future business managers and leaders by providing an in-depth understanding of how law impacts daily management decisions and business strategies. Its integrated treatment of law and management presents a very strategic perspective, showing how the law provides ways for managers to minimize risk and create value, how to use the law to craft solutions to attain core business objectives, and how to spot legal issues before they become legal problems and effectively handle the inevitable legal disputes that arise in the course of doing business. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Textbook
I was slightly disappointed because of the previous owners attempt to cover highighted areas in the book. They should have left it alone. Otherwise, I was pleased with the service of buying the textbook from the seller.

3-0 out of 5 stars not the same book
I did not realize this textbook was an instructor's version. Even though the comment said it is the same as the student version, I would not have ordered it. Also, the front of the textbook says it comes with a DVD. There was no DVD with this book.

2-0 out of 5 stars Duhh
I don't care much for this book. I've had business books as an undergard that were written much better than this. The author also needs to learn to use a thesaurus. I often felt like I was reading the same thing over & over again due to over usage of the same words/phrases throughout the entire book

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a great TEXT Book
I am not the type of person who generally likes to read text books, but after reading this book, there may be some textbooks that are helpful. This books goes over almost everything that managers would encounter in the business world, and it explains the subjects in great detail. What I really liked about the book was that after explaining the material, the book would use real world experiences or cases to explain the application of the law. This is very helpful for someone who is not as familiar with how the law works.

4-0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed.
I ordered this book for a business law class. It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and was exactly what I needed. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive Classroom Management: Creating Communities of Support and Solving Problems (9th Edition
I received the book in the required time. The book was new just as it was described.

4-0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive classroom management: Creating communitites of support and solving problems
The condition was good.It had been a sample used by publisher for academic review, so the cover was distorted. Therefore, the book looked cheap compared to the other textbooks of peers.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!
I ordered it and received it immediatley. Book was in great condition and came right on time!

4-0 out of 5 stars Contains some good info
Even though this book is more of a textbook, I have really found it pretty useful.I'm going to begin my fifth year of teaching and I have found ideas and strategies that I could use.It has ideas for both lower and upper grades. It is very comprehensive, covering discipline techniques to parent/teacher conferences.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truly comprehensive, informative, and well-researched!
I felt I should write this review after seeing the bad wrap it got from another reviewer. I am doing my thesis on classroom discipline and out of all the books I've read on the subject, this one gave me the best insight and critique of the history of discipline research as well as great ideas for teachers on how to go about creating their own classroom management plan. This book touched on all areas important to successful classroom management; I have not found everything covered here in any other single source. This book is a must for all new teachers who really want to succeed! ... Read more
