Reality check
This book tells the people of Puerto Rico to have a reality check.I was born and race in Puerto Rico, and I now reside in the United States.The author is right, some might not like what was written.Yes, it has some typo errors, but I do not think that is the impact of this book or some of us would not be upset of the facts.I love my Island, but I do not agree with what is happening on the island.Society has gotten use to the what so call the "norm". I make a point to visit the island every year and every year it gets worse.We need to start valuing what little we have left.We have a beautiful island with a lot to offer and take care.If we continue being the expectators and not the doers, then we will loose a lot.I give this book thumbs up.

Editor Anyone?
The point of Puerto Rico:Land of Lost Dreams is not to demonstrate fine English writing, but a little editing would have helped.Sometimes it was difficult to follow the author because his sentences were jumbled and often difficult to follow.His grammar would be graded "F," I'm afraid.Someone should have helped him so that his story would be more cogent and easier for the reader to understand.

mystery ...
This book is quite slow in the beginning.Halfway thru it starts to get better.Still not sure who the mystery political candidate is that the author knew while he lived on the island.Still a bit hazy...but overall pretty good.

ahhhhh the memories!
I myself lived in Puerto Rico for many years.I am glad to see a book that tells it like it is.Anyone interested in reading a book from a different point of view should read this one!With the upcoming ''status'' vote for Puerto Rico coming later this year, this books facts are square on target.It's nice to read about a ''real'' person with all his faults and fears puts it on paper for others to read.That takes guts! as he admits he fails in the end of this story.Was fun to read, and remember my own memories living in ''la isla del encanto''.

What is this crap supposed to be?This author is deceiving the public into thinking that this is a scholarly expose of secrets about Puerto Rico.What a joke!It's more like self-promotion.The story line sounds like it was written by a 10 year old with all of its writing errors.Do yourselves a favor and do not purchase this garbage.It is over-priced and not worthy to be called a book. ...
