Quebec is a peninsula more-or-less shaped like a triangle from which we must subtract the land mass which makes up Labrador ( and which is part of Newfoundland). From east to west, Quebec is bordered by Labrador, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Ontario. Most of the population is to be found in the southern part of the province, especially along the shores of the St. Lawrence River.
