This book seems to be the most recent and comprehensive survey of SOM applications which are described in detail. Really good technical chapters, could have another one or two on financial business. What To-Do, not "why"
This book is a very simple step by step guide to change different thing in your body regarding your brain such as Allergic Reactions, traumas, Decision Making, etc. but it doesnt explain in length whats is behind NLP. You might want to start off with a Introductory book to NLP if you want to UNDERSTAND more of it

Easy to use and understand
Even if you are not familiar with all the terminology that goes along with NLP, this book is user friendly. I used the grief exercise with a friend and it helped her immensely.

Brief, usable applications
This is a book you can pick up and benefit from without having to have read the book cover-to-cover firtst.Just turn to whatever you're interested in, and read that section to use quickly.A real time-saver.Very practical applications for issues hypnotherapists such as myself frequently encounter.

I recommend this book
From my experiemce, some parts of Heart of the Mind tell how to do,and some others are inspirational and leave you some clues about how to do it.(english is my second language).

Therefore for NLP Practitioners, the clues should be exciting enough to test wether you get good grasp on NLP but not for the non practitioners.

However Heart of the Mind and Reframing helps me inspired and got rid of my asthma since I was a kid. By the way I did it myself.

My guess is Heart of the Mind is meant to tell how far NLP can do for the welness of human being and provides some steps for you to do it yourself.

Great book to learn programming and DarkBASIC
I have gone through every book out there to use to teach young people how to use DarkBASIC and this is by far the best one out there.It actually starts with teaching you how to think about programming. It has many examples and exercises. It looks like it took many years to develop the material and compile an approach that works to really instruct a newbie on what programming is all about.I have been discouraged by many books that claim to teach the beginner and then run through all the important coding concepts before they present programs (esp., game programs) that only someone who already knows how to code understands.The worse ones are those that offer little to no explanation of the programs. It is as if they expect young programmers to type it in and magically all is somehow explained. This book is not one of those books.You can learn either on your own or in classroom environment.
The only negative thing I can say about this book is that I had to order it from abroad and hence the price was rather steep. I wish it was more readily available for purchase here in the US for all those folks who want to teach themselves how to build games with DarkBASIC.
