Better Than Expected
Just the book I was looking for and in much better condition than I expected

Pure Heart Food
Adrian Bailey loves his country, its people and their food. This must be true, given his loving approach to all in this book. Much more than a book of English recipes, the book paints a picture of British life in anothertime. Yet, as Bailey points out, the food lives on and can be had here orthere. He stand with Kenneth Roberts and Lawrence Sanders as an author whocan force you to put down the book and head for the kitchen. For those whowish, there are recipes, good ones, along with fascinating pictures. Butthe plain text alone is worthy of a king's time. ... Read more

Love it, my best friend and I are crazy about anything Irish and she had this book.I borrowed it to copy some of the receipes and decided to check with Amazon to see if I could buy it because there were so manny pages I wanted to copy.
