I am still keeping my fingers for the Mavs to keep the top seed in the West and the league - it would so awful to lose it this close to the end, when they had pretty much lead wire-to-wire. Unfortunately for us though, the San Antonio Spurs just refuse to lose. If only Tim Duncan and David Robinson were not such great guys - I would so hate them! Grrr! BTW, I finally got the Mavs comic book last Friday. Q: Do you have to go slowly when you have a young team? A: Veterans already have the fundamental base and all you are concerned with is the strategy and the implementation of a game plan. With young players, you also have to be concerned about basic fundamentals. You go as fast as you can, but you have to be careful. We go fast, get knocked down and then we walk slow. Q: In what ways does experience show? A: It's kind of like a jazz band. With veterans, you can bring in a drummer or whatever and they pick right up on the beat.
