Job Postings NASHVILLE 2, ST LOUIS 1 (OT) NASHVILLE, Tennessee Defenseman Andy Delmore provided all the offense the Nashville Predators needed to end an eight-game winless streak against the St. Louis Blues. Delmore scored his second goal of the game, a power-play tally with 16 seconds left in overtime, to give the Predators a 2-1 triumph over the Blues. After forcing overtime late in the third period, Delmore netted his 12th power-play goal of the season, breaking the team record he set last season. Defenseman Jason York fired a slap shot from the high slot that deflected off goaltender Brent Johnson and trickled to the left faceoff circle. Delmore came down from the left point and shoveled the puck into the net as the Predators ended an 0-6-2 streak against the Blues.

No letdown for Sharks after Olympic break By Mike Lee "They took a little steam out of us with that first goal," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "And then they came back and scored again. All of a sudden we were down 2-0 after really not playing that bad." "I feel good about our line," Selanne said. "Korolyuk and Marleau are playing really well. They are really hungry to make it to the playoffs and that is a good thing. The whole team is playing well and that is really the key to our playoff run." Vladimir Orszagh gave the Predators a glimmer of hope early in the 2nd period, when he redirected a Denis Arkipov pass past Evgeni Nabokov. Arkipov blew past Bryan Marchment on the left wing, before circling behind the Sharks net and slipping the pass to Orszagh in the slot. Nashville tried turning up the heat but San Jose repelled five straight power play attempts by the Predators to squash any comeback attempt.
