Background
Hello and welcome to my home page.
I can assist you on a broad range of topics, including as a financial planner, estate planning, small business, corporations, tax, bookkeeping, and mutual fund selection. So, if you are looking for excellent work without a lot of cost, then please contact me by telephone, or e-mail.
And as you will gather as you view my web page, I come with a commitment to customer service.
Words on the road to success!
1)Plan, Plan, Plan-If you want to stay away from money problems, you need to have a plan of action. Ask yourself questions such as how much money did I save for a rainy day this month? Will I be getting that second job on the weekend to supplement my income? Where will I be 10 years from now and how will I get there? How is my long-term financial plan looking?
2)Debt is a killer, avoid it-I have heard many horror stories about people living on check by check, then along comes credit cards, then more debt, and lastly bankruptcy. Spending must be guided by a budget!
3)Research anything you do-Whether is is a stock, mutual fund, new car, or anything for that matter, the fundamentals of the issue must be researched. Making a rash decision is not usually a good idea.

Issa is a "fridge poetry" set for your Mac. It gives you a bunch of word tiles and lets you assemble poetry using them. A picture being worth a thousand words, here are pictures of two poems:
The marble and cloud backgrounds are supplied by Issa courtesy of the "virtual fridge", the area you compose your poems in. The virtual fridge can display a dozen different background images, courtesy of The3dStudio.com ; you can also supply your own backgrounds, or you can choose to run Issa without the virtual fridge, composing your poems directly over your desktop.
Everything else you see in those snapshots is configurable too: the font, the layout, colors, tile styles, everything. You can make your own word lists with names of people you know or words about hobbies or interests you have (Issa comes with word lists for sports, classic movie stars, celebrities, scientific terms, and other such things). You can export your poems to share with friends (producing HTML pages, images like the ones above, or plain text versions). We could go on and on; configurable snapping, adjustable window level and opacity, image tiles, auto-relayout of poems. But for all this, Issa is very easy to use; it's really just like working with the poetry magnets on your own fridge.
Issa is named after Kobayashi Issa (1763-1827), my favorite poet. I love Issa for many reasons, but his sense of humor is one of the most wonderful things about him. Here's one that makes me laugh every time I read it:

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in traditions simply because they have been handed down for generations. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything merely on authority of your teachers and elders. But when, after observation and analysis, you find anything that agrees with reason, and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." -The Buddha's Kalama Sutra
Kokoro Ryu sect of Universal Buddhism: We acknowlegde one God. This God is the Universal Life-force. He has sent many to this earth to help us seek enlightenment, like all the Bodisattvas such as Jesus, the Dali Lama, Mother Theresa and that kind old man down the road. Each appears to us in the form and manner best for our lesson at that time. We all follow the path to the Truth through the teachings of Love and Compassion. We all strive to end suffering. It is the Bottisava St Issa that binds Christianity and Buddhism together in this search.

Issa's life was full of misfortunes - he lost his mother at an early age, his stepmother mistreated him, he suffered from poverty, his children died and his marriage with his second wife was unhappy. However, Issa's poems reflected small joys of life. He used also dialect and colloquail language when depicting the life of the Shinshu peasants and everyday events. Quiet
In the depths of the lake
A peak of cloud.
As a poet Issa was more robust and subjective compared to austere, priestly Matsuo Basho (1644-94) and worldly, sophisticated Yosa Buson (1716-83). By confessing his doubts and loneliness in highly personal haiku, Issa's poems also have given consolation to generations of readers. One of the famous haiku in Oragaharu is said to have been written by Issa when he was a child: Come with me and play
Parentless sparrow
Kobayashi Issa was born in Kashiwabara, Shinano province (now part of Shinano Town, Nagano Prefecture), as a son of a farmer. His father was widowed a few years after Issa was born. He remarried but Issa had troubles with his foster mother. He began writing haiku as a young child, and in 1777, at the age of fourteen, he was sent by his father to Edo (Tokyo today), where he studied

The Best of the Sons of Men
  • Ancient scrolls reveal that Jesus spent seventeen years in India and Tibet From age thirteen to age twenty-nine, he was both a student and teacher of Buddhist and Hindu holy men The story of his journey from Jerusalem to Benares was recorded by Brahman historians Today they still know him and love him as St. Issa. Their 'buddha'
  • In 1894 Nicolas Notovitch published a book called The Unknown Life of Christ . He was a Russian doctor who journeyed extensively throughout Afghanistan, India, and Tibet. Notovitch journeyed through the lovely passes of Bolan, over the Punjab, down into the arid rocky land of Ladak, and into the majestic Vale of Kashmir of the Himalayas. During one of his jouneys he was visiting Leh, the capital of Ladak, near where the buddhist convent Himis is. He had an accident that resulted in his leg being broken. This gave him the unscheduled opportunity to stay awhile at the Himis convent. Notovitch learned, while he was there, that there existed ancient records of the life of Jesus Christ. In the course of his visit at the great convent, he located a Tibetan translation of the legend and carefully noted in his carnet de voyage over two hundred verses from the curious document known as "The Life of St. Issa."

Dear Friend, Fighting for the issues that matter to our community, that’s what I’ve done for the past two years in Congress. I believe a smaller, more fiscally responsible federal government, dedicated to our most fundamental needs serves the American people best. I believe a strong national defense protects our freedom. I believe in the American family and that traditional family values are the source of the American spirit. I appreciate the opportunity you have given me to represent you in Congress and hope to have your continued support when you cast your ballot on Tuesday, November 5, 2002. Thank you. Sincerely,
    Congressman Darrell Issa
