About The Clarence Major Art Website This site is focused on the artwork created by one of the most important writers and poets working in the U. S. today Clarence Major, author of more than 20 books of poetry and fiction. Major is an accomplished artist, who works in many different media: watercolor, oils, acrylic, pen and ink, pencil. He is one of those rare artists accomplished and comfortable both with words and with the tools of the visual artist, and who uses both to tell his stories and express his emotions.
