Vampyrerne vil forsøge at kalde “Masteren” tilbage. Men hun overhører hans advarsel og bringer dermed sine venner i stor fare.
    Originaltitel: ”When She Was Bad”.
Buffy kaster sig modvilligt, men ihærdigt over arbejdet.

[ books 2002 ] Upside Down: A Primer for the Looking Glass World (May 2002), Eduardo Galeano, translated by Mark Fried read 22.12.02 own assumptions. Notes from a Small Island (March 1998), Bill Bryson read 15.12.02 This book chronicles Bryson's farewell trip around England before he returned to his native Midwestern USA, after having lived and worked on the "small island" for almost two decades. I fully expected to enjoy and appreciate this book, especially because I like to think that I have a fairly keen understanding of what it is about England that so intrigues Americans (who are far more enamoured of all things British than say, Canadians are), and why. But I didn't enjoy it hardly at all. There were moments that stirred a bit of a chuckle out of me, but overall, I found Bryson to be over the top, excessive, exaggerated in both his praise and damnation of various aspects of English culture and landscape. His prose is clunky, overbearing, and devoid of those subtle nuances that are often peculiar to good travel literature, the ones that, if successfully employed, provide enough detail to tantalise and keep you coming back for more, but don't smack you in the face when you do.

.....Trio of psychotic hoods (led by Coates) hide out in a closed New England inn, unaware that a blind woman (Hack) is in the house. Hack is uninspired in this suspenseless suspenser, but then neither she nor the rest of the good cast are given much to work with. sc: Sergio Altieri. dir: Tom Berry. - violence.- app. 90 min. (2000) (/U.S.) Nastassja Kinski, Stewart Bick, Maxim Roy, Victoria Snow, Jack Langedijk, Gordon Pinsent, Frank Schorpion, Edward Yankie
.....Morose American widow (imported Kinski) finds her new found happiness with a new husband (Bick) jeopardized by a crazed female stalker. Suspense film is one of those modestly-budgeted little thrillers Canadian filmmakers churn out on a regular basis, utilizing the usual story elements (the cheery best friend, the ineffectual cop, the ageing private eye who won't make it to the final reel, the generic title, the U.S. setting, etc. even the casting contains the usual actorrs like Bick and Langedijk). It's not that it's bad ...it's just a touch uninspired and slow moving. It spends so much time away from the thriller plot, it's almost as if it's trying to be a drama...without making the drama stuff, and the characters

(1993) Michael Riley, Martine Rochon, Doru Bandel, Heather Mathieson, Tod Fennell, Maggie Castle, Victor Knight
.....Odd-ball drifter (Riley) comes back to Montreal, unsure of what he wants in life or why, moves into an apartment building and becomes involved in various relationships. Comedy-drama is amusing and eccentric at times, but gradually wares away any viewer involvement. It wants determinedly to be an ART film, which means it's obvious, largely plotless and slow, with opaque characters and lots of pregnant pauses between lines. Good-looking, well-acted and not terrible, but uncompelling. sc. Arto Paragamian with Eric Parenteau, Claude Gagnon. d. Arto Paragamian. - brief female nudity.- 105 min. .....Peeping Tom (Gilman) becomes fascinated with a menage-a-trois, then witnesses a murder and finds himself the chief suspect with only his psychiatrist (Haddon) to whom he can turn. A decent performance from Gilman gives a boost to this otherwise middling humourous erotic thriller. sc: Michael Alan Eddy. dir: William Fruet. - partial female nudity, sexual content, violence.- 94 min. Express Writer Guy Vanderhaeghe was in Edmonton just days after his new novel, The Englishman's Boy, was nominated for a Governor General's Award for fiction. This follows on the heels of the book's nomination for the $10,000 Giller Prize. How ironic that a novel which questions the process of myth-making is being lionized by these two career-marking awards.
