Programming Stuff (Geeks only) General Ada Stuff The AdaPower site is the best single source of information for Ada programming. The GtkAda site hosts a binding on top of the GTK+ GUI toolkit. It is very well done. A US GtkAda CVS Snapshot mirror site. Provides a weekly snapshot of the CVS archives of the main GtkAda site in a single .tar.gz While not yet that stable on Windows, the GNU Visual Debugger is a cool GUI front end to GDB writthen using GtkAda. It runs good under Linux. The Big Online Book of Linux Ada Programming is a great resource even if your are not programming under Linux. The Ada for Linux Team has packaged up many of the standard Ada libraries as RPMs. Check them out. Ada stuff at www.sourceforge.com Sourceforge is of course a great resource for open source projects. Some of the better projects there are: An Ada 95 binding to the Python interpreter. The Ada Source Library Browser (GTK+ based). The project (Mine) which currently provides an Ada 95 Portable Pixmap (PPM) I/O package and someday will handle other image formats. The QtAda project which plans on building an Ada 95 clone of the Qt library.
