I did a Tir na Nog 6-day Northern, and a 6-day Southern tour. Starting in Dublin, we first headed to Northern Ireland where the first night was spent in Belfast. Did a black cab taxi tour there - very interesting and helped you to gain a completely new perspective on the troubles. From Belfast up to the beautiful Antrim Coast and the Giants Causeway. Next off to Derry for an insightful walking tour and look at the Bogside, site of Bloody Sunday. Headed back into the Republic and through Co. Donegal and then down the West coast. Highlights of the Southern part of the tour were the Dingle Peninsula (Ring of Kerry) and kissing the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle (where I was supposed to get the gift of eloquence - am still waiting).
