    1 INTRODUCTION
In the past few years people working in the area of process algebra have started to extend process theories such as CCS, CSP, and ACP with, for instance, real-time or probabilistics. A natural question that arises is whether or not such an extension is somehow related with its subtheory, for instance, whether or not the extension is conservative in some sense. If we add new operators and/or rules to a particular transition system it would be nice to know whether or not provable transitions of a term in the original system are the same as those in the extended system for that term; we will call this property operational conservativity (cf. Pre-Algebra:
Pre-Algebra prepares students for taking Algebra next year. It has a lot to do with using variables. It also often times deals with abstract Students learn how to figure out what a variable stands for in an equation. So far this year students have covered many topics: sets, Venn Diagrams, fractions, intergers, rational numbers, solving equations, word problems, and currently students are covering coordinates and graphing. Students sometimes have journal questions to answer. One big thing that stu dents nust turn in is a report on a famous mathematician or famous math theory/discovery.
    General Math
General Math is a standard level of math. In general math, students go at a less rushed pace on each of the topics. In general math, so far this year students have covered reviewing addition subtraction multiplication and division, fraction, decimal s, intergers, word problems, and sampled some of algebra. 94. GraspMath Intermediate Algebra Video 3 -Factoring Binomials & Trinomials, Genera
The problems covered here are at the intermediate algebra level of difficulty.general Factoring. This segment covers factoring polynomials in general.
    http://www.graspmath.com/graspmath/interalg3.html
    • Greatest Common Factor and Factoring Trinomials.
This segment covers factoring of polynomials beginning with factoring out the greatest common factor. In the case of trinomials the method of arranging terms in descending degree and inspection of signs to locate signs in the factors is covered. In case of polynomials with four or more terms, the method of factoring by grouping is covered. The problems covered here are at the intermediate algebra level of difficulty.
    • Factoring Binomials.
This segment covers factoring binomials in the case of the difference of two perfect squares and in the case of the sum or difference of two cubes. The case of binomials which reduce to these cases after factorization of the greatest common factor is also covered. The problems covered here are at the intermediate algebra level of difficulty.
    • General Factoring.
This segment covers factoring polynomials in general. In the case of binomials the difference of two perfect squares and the sum or difference of two cubes as well as binomials which can be treated by these methods are covered. In the case of trinomials the method of arranging terms in order of decreasing degree in order to determine the signs of the terms in the factors is covered. For polynomials with more than three terms factoring by grouping is covered. Polynomials in more than one variable are also covered.
    • Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring.
