We are also pleased to provide information on the archeology of a county or region of the state. Resources available to you in the archeology office include inventories of archeological artifacts and sites and published articles related to archeology. The archeology division can also provide a listing of archeological sites without their legal description. Specific legal descriptions or locations of archeological sites are not made public due to problems with vandalism and trespassing. Site locations are provided for Indian tribes and cultural resource managers working on behalf of public agencies.

Before your students begin designing their science projects, be sure to visit Amateur Science.
    Amusement Park Physics

The Annenberg /CPB Project supports this site, which features this amusement park exhibit where they ask, "What are the forces behind the fun?" How many time have you stood at the foot of an amusement park ride and asked yourself, "How can it do that?" This site will help answer all of your questions about the physics of amusement park rides. The site is very interactive with animations that demonstrate many of the physics principles presented here. Don’t visit another amusement park without first checking out this site.
