SA Government Radio Network
The SA Government Radio Network (SA-GRN) is substantially improving radio communications services for South Australian public safety organisations and SA Government entities. When completed in 2002, the SA-GRN will service approximately 50,000 users and be one of the best and most cost effective networks of its type in the world - comprising voice, paging and mobile data, supported by comprehensive training and management services. The 3 sub-networks offer a range of advanced features over existing services, resulting in improved services to the people of South Australia. The SA-GRN coverage reflects South Australian population density patterns and is built with an emphasis on the requirements of the SA public safety organisations (Police, Metropolitan Fire, Ambulance, Country Fire Service, and State Emergency Services) as well as providing services for all South Australian government entities. More information can be obtained by visiting the SA-GRN website.

Not only was it well known as a favorite nightclub for Western tourists, particularly Australians, it had a policy of refusing entry to locals. When news of the CIA warnings emerged, Howard initially tried to maintain the cover-up. Along with other members of cabinet and US Ambassador Tom Schieffer, he continued to assert that he was unaware of any such intelligence. 7.30 Report A former regimental intelligence officer with the Australian army in East Timor, Andrew Plunkett, told the

LATEST STORIES Australian government convinced that Iraq is duping the UN Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Alexander Downer, says time is running out for war to be avoided.
Mr Downer has described the new evidence against Iraq as disturbing and attention will now turn to a report from the United Nations' weapons inspectors to be handed down next week.
He says there will need to be a sudden change of attitude from Saddam Hussein for war to be avoided.
Mr Downer says the American Secretary of State presented cast iron evidence that Iraq is not co-operating with the United Nations inspectors.
The Opposition Leader, Simon Crean, agrees the evidence is convincing, but it's not a justification for war without UN backing. MORE RADIO AUSTRALIA NEWS
