Tim Russert , senior vice president and Washington Bureau chief of NBC News, also serves as moderator of MEET THE PRESS and as a political analyst for NBC Nightly News and the Today Show. In addition, he anchors The Tim Russert Show, a weekly program on CNBC examining the role of the media in American society.
Since joining NBC News in 1984, Mr. Russert has interviewed a notable array of major American political figures, including President Bill Clinton, Ross Perot, Bob Dole, Newt Gingrich, Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, Pat Buchanan, Jack Kemp and Colin Powell.
