http://www.marioncareerpathways.org/general_info.htm
In 1993, the Marion County Public Schools initiated a Pre-K through Post-Secondary Comprehensive Career Preparation Model designed to ensure that all students are prepared to go to work; post-secondary technical training; and/or professional programs of study when they graduate from high school. The Career Development Plan is the product of a collaborative effort among district staff, school personnel, and representatives from the business community. It is an overview of our career development model, with a description of proposed standard requirements for a Marion County, Florida, high school diploma. While this plan is a prototype design, it holds great promise for graduating students, throughout the state, to become productive, self-supporting adult citizens. Career Model Executive Summary
