as the White Swan in the classical ballet, Swan Lake.
In 1995 she joined the
Newman Smith High School Drill Team, placing in the top
3 soloists for all competitions entered. She was appointed 1st. Lt. of the 70 member team in her senior year. currently performs with Roustabouts Entertainment , as a guest dancer for various venues in the DFW area.
As the Director of Choreography,
Marie began her professional career with the off-broadway musical Revelate! The show ran for one season in 2000 and is being picked up by a larger production company.
Marie became the Director and Choreographer for the Carrollton Christian Academy Angels while continuing her education at the University of North Texas.
Marie has been judging team and officer tryouts in Texas for the past three years.

Palm Desert Dance Under The Stars Choreography Festival 2003
About The Festival
Palm Desert Dance Under The Stars Choreography Festival is a celebration of dance that includes choreography competitions for professional and amateur choreographers, master classes, school residencies and educational workshops, and performances including a free performance at the Hahn Amphitheatre at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park in Palm Desert, California.
Categories for competition include solo, pas de deux, small group (3 to 5 dancers) and ensemble (6 or more dancers).
Submission is by video. The video must represent the choreography being submitted. Time limits for submitted choreography are 7 minutes for amateur and 11 minutes for professional. The submission deadline is May 15, 2003. There is a $60 entry fee for each submission- entries postmarked before May 1, 2003 qualify for a $10 discount. Sponsorships for entry fees are available.
All styles of dance are encouraged to apply for participation in the festival.
