Iain has published several books and articles including commentaries on Lamentations and a book with Phil Long and Tremper Longman titled A Biblical History of Israel (forthcoming 2003). Old Testament Foundations This course aims to present an overview of the background and contents of the books that make up the Old Testament, and to offer some reflection on the question of how they are best read together as part of the Christian canon of Scripture. It is most profitably taken in conjunction with The Christian Life (INDS 500),* which further explores how the Old Testament functions as an intrinsic part of the scriptural rule of faith and life for the Christian. BIBL 501:

This course is required for DipCS, MCS and MDiv programs. It will alternate in Spring School each year with New Testament Foundations.

Central Christian College of Kansas
A Home-School Friendly Campus . . . . . . The Natural Transition from Home School to College. Central Christian College welcomes applicants with a background in home schooling.
Central Christian College is a private, Christian, residential, liberal arts college with four-year Ministry, Business, and Liberal Studies programs. Our enrollment is approximately 300 students. Because we are a small college, we feel Central is an excellent place for the home-schooled student to pursue their college career. A student who is accustomed to the one-on-one attention received through home schooling may feel lost enrolling at a larger college or university. At Central Christian College, the average class size is 15-20 students—which allows the professors the luxury of more interaction with the students. Central desires to serve home-school graduates as they often bring positive skills to our campus such as motivation, responsibility, and moral maturity. Some indications that Central Christian College is a Home-School Friendly Campus:
  • Many of our faculty and staff choose to educate their children at home.
