"To provide the perfect link between the student-athlete, a specialized sports program, and a well-rounded college education. " Since our inception in 1989 has developed numerous strategic alliances with high schools and national/international youth sports organizations that have encouraged us to introduce new services and has allowed us to become the premier resource for the college identification and selection process. The Official Athletic College Guides to sports colleges and sports scholarships has awarded qualified and talented students with scholarships worth as much as $150,000 - in comparison, a typical recruiting service will charge in excess of $2,000 with negligible results. 87. Wabash College: Classics
Featuring information on courses and resources, faculty and alumni.

VERVIEW
The Classics Department faculty is unusually large for the size of the school. With four members, the department is one of the largest in the Great Lakes Colleges Association, even though Wabash is the smallest school in the GLCA. All faculty members are active in their fields outside of the classroom, publishing books and articles, giving talks at professional meetings, carrying on archaeological excavations in Greece and Jordan, travelling extensively in France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the Near East. The classics stand at the center of the Wabash curriculum. Not only do students take courses in Latin, Greek, and Classics, but other departments offer courses to supplement those offered by the department. These include ancient political theory, ancient Greek philosophy, and ancient rhetoric from the departments of Political Science, Philosophy, and Speech. Ancient history courses are taught by members of the Classics Department. Culture and Traditions, a required course for all Wabash sophomores, regularly includes study of the ancient Greeks. "I am biased in favor of boys learning English; I would make them all learn English: and then I would let the clever ones learn Latin as an honor, and Greek as a treat."

Introduction
Maps and other cartographic materials are collected in the Middlebury College Libraries to support the College curriculum. There are many library resources of potential use to genealogists, however, more comprehensive resources for genealogists exist elsewhere in public or special libraries. Maps are divided between Armstrong and Starr Libraries . Topographic, geologic, and DMA sheet maps can be found at the Armstrong Library. Starr Library holds CIA and other federally-produced maps in the Government Documents Collection. Road and city maps and a set of Vermont topographic maps are located in the Starr Library Reference Collection. National Geographic Magazine maps are being gradually transferred to Armstrong Library. Check MIDCAT for individual titles. Both Libraries hold a selection of atlases, gazetteers, and map reference resources. Most maps can be charged out. Most maps are not individually represented in MIDCAT . If you have questions about maps or other cartographic materials, please contact Louise Zipp, Science Librarian (802-443-5018)
