Review:
WE LOVE THIS PROGRAM for these grade levels. I cannot speak for the "higher" grades because we are not there yet.
We have used everything from Math U See to Saxon and though they were ok we didn't seem to "fit"?
My sons LOVE doing their singapore as it is easy to understand, well laid out, very very visual and explains concepts in tiny bite size portions so that even I grasp basic concepts at a more solid level.
One of my sons has a LD and the bright graphic pictures really help him. Make sure you take the placement test as singapore does not start their children in school until the age of 7?(I think that's what I read) and so they are ahead of what we would be. My oldest son was halfway thru with saxon 3 and began 2A and my 2nd son is in kindergarten and started with their pre-school program. I am just sooo thrilled with how easy this is to get done everyday. Not a lot of prep work!
