Do a "search" on any search engine for the topic Red Tide or " Blood Red Moon " and read about what "science" is calling it to "cover up" God's prophecied will!
The Following is a list of World events over the past two years that has moved mankind to the Returm of Jesus Christ.. The oldest is listed first, then down through this year with links so you can verifiy the Information yourself, which we at The Watchman encourge you to do. Where in the bible did prophecy indicate the Millennium bug ? This last year 1999, the world was swamped with the news of Y2K problems. as it made interesting reading, for those who enjoy the thoughts of catastrophes,  stock market crashes, food shortages, power failures, etc. What amazed me was the amount of Christians, who got on the band wagon and made out the Y2K problem to be a prophetic warning of the end times. WHERE WAS IT WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE And what elusive scriptures did they justify their knowledge on ? If these sites are basing their ministry on the Holy Spirit and the Lords prophetic word, how then did they go so wrong. No wonder a great multitude of the saints will fall away, when Christian teachers are being caught up with fanciful prophecies. For the ministers of the Gospel who proclaimed Y2K as the great unfolding event in these last days. My issue of concern is that the watchmen of the world, think long and carefully about whether they should be building doctrines over issues such as Y2K  So what happened to Y2K  Y2K was a problem, but not a problem that would cause catastrophic events. Most Governments, and businesses had done their homework, and made the necessary changes to ensure that when the clock turned over into the year 2000 everything would continue to run smoothly. At times there will be a few hiccups but not of a world sized catastrophe. This was a well known fact, so why all the hype.

This policy will accomplish little more than an increase in the suburban sprawl. Politics Internet Sales Tax Once again, the issue of an Internet sales tax rears its ugly head. The Internet sales tax, however, is not simply an issue of fairness. It is yet another indication that the entire mechanism for collecting sales tax is crumbling. Currently, sales tax is based on location. As our society becomes more mobile, the tax becomes more difficult to administer correctly. Politics The Minimum Wage Debate The debate about the minimum wage should not be about the value of the wage, but about the wisdom of having Congress set American salaries. Many companies use minimum wage as an index. A static minimum wage has the adverse effect of decreasing pay received by poorer Americans. We should replace the static minimum wage by a series of indices which will provide employees and employers the information they need to negotiate compensation.

If education were not such a serious subject, the scandals of many public school districts would be laughable.
In San Francisco, for instance, a previously confidential audit by the Arthur Andersen accounting firm found that since 1994 nearly $30 million of $90 million in funds from voter-approved school-construction bonds has been spent on non-approved items such as teacher salaries and bulldozing a lot not owned by the school district. At the same time, due to pressure from the teachers' union, the school district is contemplating the cancellation of a contract with a for-profit company that has managed to raise student test scores at an inner-city public school that it operates.
Public school protectionism is not limited to urban school districts. Officials in Ohio, for example, have proposed new statewide teaching certification standards (such as master's degrees for teachers), but these certifications will do little to improve educational quality. According to a study by Richard Vedder, "there is no statistically significant relationship between the percentage of teachers holding a master's degree (or more) and average student academic performance. The master's requirement makes no sense." Not unless you're a teachers' college that will directly benefit from hordes of returning teachers in search of a master's degree.

With large storage capacities, multimedia becomes increasingly elaborate and learning becomes a more enjoyable experience. As always, those who create games have led the way by showing us what multimedia can do. Even Microsoft tried to show what "information at your fingertips" could mean by persisting with MS Bookshelf, despite losing money on the project. Encyclopedia publishers also recognized the potential, but were frightened about how to make a living selling tiny CD-ROM discs after a century of printing collections of books that people loved to hold in their hands, books that parents could hand to their children. Even more seriously, teachers were intimidated by the challenge to add PCs to the classroom. After all, the PC could totally change how a class was run. Additionally, teachers faced a room full of students, many of whom were more computer- savvy than the teacher. It might have been students, parents and then school administrators who pushed computers into schools. However, there was a lot of support and encouragement from the businesses who demanded PC education: first to teach word processing, then to teach about computers and finally to use computers to teach. The role of the encyclopedia was central to the growing role of the multimedia PC.

In this section BCN recognizes those volunteers whose efforts have shone as they have given their time, energy and talents to BCN projects. Paul Tiger first came to the BCN as a information provider for fire departments in 1995. He soon took the position of Center Developer for the Emergency Services Center
A former volunteer firefighter, Paul is now an active volunteer rescuer with the Longmont Emergency Unit ; the president of the Friends of the Longmont Youth Center ; spends time organizing and teaching computer technology to adults and children; and arranging donations of computers to deserving individuals and groups.
In the fall of 2001, Paul took on the role of Volunteer Coordinator for the BCN. Marc Sobel joined BCN in Fall of 1998. He walked into the offices of BCN with a desire to contribute to Virtual Chautauqua . Virtual Chautauqua connects k-12 rural youth with performing artists via the interet. Marc knew he wanted to make a special contribution to this project and was very patient in explaining to BCN's nontechnical staff what he had in mind. Marc is recognized by BCN as being a 'Virtual Wizard' because of his vision and determination to build an interactive virtual performing artist museum teachers will use to create unique lesson plans from the Virtual Chautauqua material. There are maybe a dozen virtual museums on the web but this will be the first virtual performing arts museum.. (Part 4 of 4) by Rod Benson Matthew 24:1-14 I am amazed at the comments of many American Christians in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington DC. On the day the planes hit, Jerry Falwell said on Pat Robertson's 700 Club, "The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked ... the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians ... I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen.' " Hal Lindsay, author of The Late Great Planet Earth, envisions more terrorists attacks, setting the stage for the collapse of America. He said, "The decline of the United States has begun." David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and the Switchblade, said the attacks were a warning of a greater destruction he has predicted, "unless New York City repents." Paul Crouch of the Trinity Broadcasting Network said that this was the "beginning of sorrows ... as predicted by Jesus."

    STORY:
Everything Counts 2000 With less than 200 days from 2000, attitude is everything! Special Report by Gary Ryan Blair I interrupt your life to bring you this important message - everything counts! Everything Counts! is a philosophy for living. Its meaning simple yet powerful; every thought, decision, and action moves you closer to or further from attaining your goals. Consider it when you think of the goals you wish to achieve over the next 200 days. Embracing this philosophy may be a struggle at first. Intellectual and emotional cobwebs may need to be swept away, rusted thought patterns oiled and freed up. But I assure you; it is a philosophy that will lead you to 21st Century success. Self-knowledge grows as you subject your life to examination. Listening to your own speech, reflecting on your thoughts, looking at your own actions - these are process by which you master yourself. We shape our philosophies and ourselves by observing and striving to understand the events of each moment. A focus on virtues to attain and item to forego is crucial to the philosophy of "Everything counts"! The first of 28 installments is a call to awareness, not to neurosis. I hope to offer you a fresh, honest perspective of looking at the new millennium. I hope to provide you with useful insights that can be used immediately to help you close out the 20th Century in style. These 200 days will never appear again in your lifetime. A wonderful opportunity awaits. Beginning today you must plan and act on everything you wish to achieve, bring closure to or simply just celebrate for having attempted.

Disaster Management: Healthcare Professionals Working Together
A Conversation With David Vukich, MD, Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida
By Kelly M. Pyrek The first in a series examining disaster management and bioterrorism as related to infectious diseases. Q: In your opinion, is the average US hospital prepared for a mass disaster like the Sept. 11 terrorism attacks? A: US hospitals are doing a good job with what they've got. However, the average hospital is prepared for a disaster of only modest scope and complexity, such as 30-50 casualties at most and those better not all be critical, as many hospitals could not take that many patients. The average hospital has only modest resources before any disaster and, with personnel and resource reductions, they operate at or near capacity most of the time. My own emergency department (ED) continuously holds admitted patients because we do not have in-patient beds available. Now, imagine loading another 20, 30, or 50% critical on top of this. That being said, the New York and DC hospitals did very well with the tragedies of Sept 11. They did a terrific job and clearly could have handled many more patients. But what would have happened if the numbers were reversed, if there were 6,500 critically injured and 1,000 dead? If we suffer a bioterrorism attack, these may be more like the numbers we see.
