These two institutes are researching the integration of two technologies (community input/output economic analyses and GIS) to discover new forces to promote community development. The internet provides valuable teacher resources with lesson plans for all subjects. Below are selected web-based lesson plans for teaching economics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These lesson plans were selected mainly for their application to the topic of this presentation. They do not represent the only resources for ideas and lesson plans on the web. Indeed a search for "economics lesson plans" will turn up many more sites!
