In this column, we present six New York State organizations with which NYS TESOL maintains close relations. What are their names? How are the corresponding acronyms pronounced? What is the purpose of each? And how is that purpose related to the work of NYS TESOL? NYS TESOL (nice TEA sol) belongs to three umbrella organizations concerned with language policy in New York State.
