The BBRSC aims to educate school children (especially infants level) about the importance of seatbelt usage, the wearing of helmets and general road safety skills. Interactive learning experiences and educational materials are provided to the children in the centre. Activities include a bicycle skills track with miniature road signs, an Interactive Car with seatbelt activity and a life size Road Safety board game. A Teacher's Pack and Teacher Learning Units are available that contain worksheets, resources and ideas. Topics include Change, Materials, Senses, Inventing Australia. These can also be downloaded from the website. The exhibits are hands-on and include musical instruments, computer activites and a new exhibit all about inventions.
