KS USA - Sunday, May 30, 1999 at 16:13:23 (CDT) Doctor I am impressed, Sir. You have amassed a vast collection of military/patriotic material; now i know where the majority of my graphics have come from! ;-) There are 3 verses that you might find worthy of reading, if you make your way to my little corner of the WWW. In the black table, click "Military" then look for "Flag of Rags," "Tattered 'n' Torn" and/ or "Torch Burns Forever." Bare in mind, yes i am an Army Veteran. I had the privledge to serve with many of your artillerymen; i was an Army medic in the Royal Canadian Medical Corps. I dont know much about your Flag Day and Memorial Day we don't have them up here; just Remembrance Day (Nov 11th). I only hope that i've struck the right nerve with the words i've chosen and augmented that feeling with the proper graphics (99% of which has been supplied by you, Sir).

With the Beothuks and Inuit, the Micmacs share whatever distinction there is in having been the first to be "discovered by the Europeans." For the Micmac, the contact apparently began with the exploration of Cape Breton by French Bretons in the early 1500s. At this time the Micmacs had their own territory, a civilization with a distinct system of government, education and economy. The Micmacs divided their territory into districts. The seven districts were as follows:
  • Wunama'kik , now Cape Breton Island; Piwktuk (where gaseous explosions erupt), represented by the areas of Pictou and Prince Edward Island; Eskikewa'kik (skin dressers' territory), stretching from Guysborough to Halifax counties; Sipekne'katik (ground nut place), extending over the counties of Halifax, Lunenburg, Kings, Hants and Colchester; Kespukwitk , covering the counties of Queens, Shelburne, Yarmouth, Digby and Annapolis; Siknikt , including Cumberland and the New Brunswick counties of Westmoreland, Albert, Kent, St. John, Kings and Queens; Kespek

Micmac government was organized around three main types of Chief: the Local Chief, the District Chief, and the Grand Chief.

quirky access and complete downtime for about six
hours last night/this morning. This was caused
by a DNS failure at our provider. The problem has been resolved and we have also
installed software to prevent something like this
from causing us problems in the future. Sorry
for the hassles that we have caused anyone! Case

call it Case's Store! I know in the past we have offered a few games
here and there linked on the site but we are
expanding to include HUNDREDS of titles. Best of all, we're selling more than games. You
can get CDs, movies and DVDs as well! I think you'll find that most of the prices are
