The cryonics mailing list (CryoNet) is a forum for topics related to cryonics, which include technical reports of cryopreservations, low temperature biology, mechanisms of freezing injury and progress in avoiding it, legal status of cryonics and cryopreserved people, new research and publications, conferences, mass media coverage of cryonics, local cryonics group meetings, and even the philosophical issues that cryonics raises. USENET has a sci.cryonics news group intended strictly for the scientific/technical aspects of cryonics and some cross-posting is done between sci.cryonics and the cryonics mailing list. The mailing list also includes internal cryonics organization related messages, though, which generally do not go to sci.cryonics.

Testicular Cancer Home Cancer Types Testicular Cancer Testicular cancer is most common cancer in men between 15 to 35 years old. There are two broad types: seminoma and nonseminoma histologies. The nonseminoma group of cancers includes embryonal carcinoma, teratoma, yolk sac carcinoma and choriocarcinoma. The two testicles (or testis) produce sperm and male hormones. Men who have an undescended testicle (a testicle that didn't move down into the scrotum) are at higher risk of developing testicular cancer. World-wide about 36,000 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer each year.

I have mixed feelings about this book because the protagonist is far more bitter than myself or the other little people I know. LITERATURE REFERENCES
using the Harvard System

There are several accepted conventions for citing bibliographic references. The method described here is the Harvard System. It is the one most commonly used in scientific papers.
NB: Citations in papers submitted to scholarly journals should always follow the method used by that journal.
Introduction

Citing references in a text

Creating bibliographic references
Part 1: Non-electronic sources ...
Personal electronic communications (E-mail)

Introduction In the course of your literature search you are likely to find many publications which contain relevant information. It is important that you record their full bibliographical details in order to be able to identify them easily at a later date. These details are known as bibliographical references. There are many different ways in which bibliographical references are set out by other authors. In order to avoid producing an inconsistency in your own work it is important to choose one style and stick to it. Therefore you should 'translate' any references you find into your chosen style. If you are preparing a paper for a particular journal you must of course follow the style used by that journal. Remember the basic rule is that references should be correct, complete and consistent.

Online forums and mail lists
On the Internet, group communication has been a commonly enjoyed pastime. Newsgroups range in topic from antique cars to databases to genetic engineering. Although their popularity as public forums has been declining recently due to the irresponsible mass postings of 'spammers', they are still used by millions of people daily. Mail lists, though, are poised to supersede the newsgroups as the venue of choice, perhaps because they are easier to use for the multitude of newcomers to the net. And finally, partially in response to the increasing demand for 'intranet' communications, computer conferences are also being used more frequently.
Regarding public forums for SRI on the net, there are no known newsgroups, although there are: a private mail list for SIF members, a public SRB mail list, and two public computer conferencing forums. None of these seem to be extensively used.
