But agitation for significant change rarely comes from those served well by the present system the major parties, the banks, the mass media, and big business (mainly foreign-owned). On the contrary, these powerful interests occasionally appear to unite to ridicule or ignore those proposing pro-Australian ideas. Meanwhile, the majority of voters are too busy getting on with their lives to successfully sort out the truth from the propaganda, and believe their vote has negligible effect anyway. They are easily swayed to accept that they have no real alternative to supporting one of the major parties. No matter what your political beliefs, you will find something to support, confuse, or confound them in the sites featured below:

    Nations of the World
The world is governed by nations. Due to an immense diversity of cultures, ideologies, and languages, people are reluctant to cede the authority of their nation to international or multinational bodies. Further, nations which have in themselves a relatively heterogeneous and diverse population tend to have many governmental responsibilities handled by local and provincial governments. Among nations, hundreds of organizations have been created for mutual defense, trade, and cultural purposes. These most often have limited authority and do not infringe on the sovereignty of member nations. Of these organizations, the United Nations is perhaps the largest in both extent and membership; only a handful of countries are not members. It is perhaps the closest thing we have to a world government, but it also is rather limited in its authority and almost always acts only when it has a high level of consensus among its members.

Contains basic Islamic issues, and issues relating to government and politics and Islam.
    http://www.tolueislam.com/
    Aims and Objectives of Tolu-e-Islam
  • Human intellect alone cannot solve life’s problems. God's revelation is required for human guidance in the same way that vision requires light.
God’s revelation in its complete and final form is safely preserved in the Quran. This is the universal and permanent source of guidance for humanity for all time. Therefore, no further revelation, nor any prophet, nor any messenger from God can come now. The Quran is the final book of God and Muhammad (P) His last prophet and messenger.
Every claim of the Quran is based on reason and knowledge, and its truths are beyond space and time. In order to comprehend Quranic truths, it is essential to keep abreast of the advances made in human knowledge. And since God has endowed human beings with the ability to conquer the forces of nature, it is necessary that these forces be conquered only to fulfill God’s program for humanity.
The life and character of the Prophet (P) represents the pinnacle of human dignity, decency, and greatness. His exemplary life is the best role model for humanity. There is no doubt about that part of the Prophet’s life which is preserved in the Quran. However, in regard to the part which is outside the Quran, if there are historical narrations which contradict the Quran, or if they go against the high moral character of the Prophet (P), then these narrations are to be questioned and should not be attributed to the Prophet (P). The same applies to the lives of his companions (R).
