About the Association of Medical Microbiologists
The Association of Medical Microbiologists was formed in 1983. It is a professional body concerned with all aspects of medical microbiology and infection in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Over 500 senior members of the profession from university departments of medical microbiology in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, the Public Health Laboratory Service of England and Wales as well as those from the National Health Services and Armed Forces of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland are now members of the association.
Please note that, with regret, the AMM is unable to provide advice on infection-related matters to non-members of the Association, including both general information and personal advice on individual health matters.
