    I. Membership in the Conference
    Following is a statement of the conditions governing membership in the Mississippi Valley Technology Teacher Education conference, as adopted December 3, 1927; as amended December 20, 1930; December 14, 1934; November 21, 1936; November 13, 1948; November 14, 1953; November 12, 1964; November 13, 1969; November 10, 1972; November 8, 1973; November 9, 1978; November 13, 1980; November 10, 1983; November 9, 1989; November 8, 1990, November 7, 1991, and November 6, 1997.
    II. General
  • The territory of the Mississippi Valley Technology Teacher Education Conference shall be interpreted to include the following twenty (20) states: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. There shall be five classes of members: Active Members, Active-at-Large Members, Associate Members, Former Active Members, and Former Active Members, Deceased. These five lists combined shall include all persons who have ever been associated with the Conference.

    The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (Board) is empowered by the State Legislature (Miss. Code [1991 Supp.] § 37-129-1, et seq.) and required to establish by rules and regulations and promulgate uniform standards for accreditation of Schools of Nursing in the State of Mississippi in so far as concerns the eligibility of graduates of such schools to take the examination prescribed by law to become registered nurses authorized to practice the profession of nursing as registered nurses in Mississippi, and in so far as concerns student nurses attending such schools being eligible to participate in any student nurse scholarship program (www.ihl.state.ms.us/financialaid/nursing.html) or other program of assistance now existing or hereafter established by legislative enactment. The Board is also required to issue to such Schools of Nursing upon an annual basis certificates of accreditation as may be proper under such standards.

    Rules and Regulations 1. All white-tailed deer taken legally within Mississippi during any prior hunting season are eligible to participate in the Magnolia Records Program . Only those deer taken during the 2001-2002 hunting season are eligible to participate in the Big Buck Contest 2. Mount must be registered under the name of the hunter who took and recovered the deer. Mounts not registered under the name of the hunter will be disqualified. 3. Mounts must be brought to the Trade Mart between 3:00 and 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 2nd or between 9:00 and noon Saturday, August 3rd. Mounts may be removed only between the hours of 3:30 and 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 4th. NO EXCEPTIONS 4. A weekend pass of $15.00 will be required to enter deer in either the Magnolia Records Program or the Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza's Big Buck Contest 5. Your mount will be officially scored for the purpose of the Big Buck Contest or the Magnolia Records Program only.

    Foreword
    These Rules and Regulations are issued under the authority of Title 73,Chapter 13,Sections 1-99 inclusive of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. They cover specific requirements and procedures necessary for the proper administration of the Mississippi Law regulating the practice of engineering and land surveying. They supersede all previous administrative Rules and Regulations. The Rules and Regulations shall be binding upon every person holding a certificate of registration as professional engineer or land surveyor and on all partnerships or corporations or other legal entities authorized to offer or perform engineering or surveying services in this State. Each registrant is charged with having knowledge of the existence of the Rules and Regulations and shall be deemed to be familiar with its several provisions and to understand them. Such knowledge shall encompass the understanding that the practice of engineering or land surveying is a privilege,as opposed to a right.
