Northeast Regional Credential Reciprocal Agreements with Other States New York has interstate contracts with more than 30 other states and jurisdictions. As outlined in the Interstate Agreement of Qualification of Educational Personnel , a person prepared in one of the contract states who meets the conditions of the contract is eligible for provisional certification in New York. Teacher Preparation Teacher Preparation Program The Discipline Preparing educators is one of the prime missions of Nevada State College. Great care has been taken to construct an education program that meets the needs of our state and responds to national concerns about the quality of teacher preparation programs. Our program is standards based, meaning that there are clear and explicit guidelines for student performance.
