The Cards Eh! Deck of Playing Cards
Cards Eh! is a regular deck of playing cards that colorfully displays Canadian geography and heritage. In Cards Eh!, each of the traditional ACE to KING cards is associated with a province, the territories, or the country as a whole (e.g. ACE = Canada, 2 = British Columbia, 3 = Alberta, ... KING = Northwest Territories/Nunavut). The four standard suits are then used to display the major cities, flags, coats-of-arms, and major water bodies for each province, territory, and the country. The recent (April 1, 1999) division of Canada's Northwest Territories into two new territories, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories, is highlighted by depicting Nunavut and the Northwest Territories together (i.e. KING = Northwest Territories/Nunavut in order to show how one territory became two). Also indicated on the card faces for each province and territory are the dates of confederation, the total land area, and the mottos. The Canadian national, anthem in both English and French, is printed on the two wild cards.

Canada's Landmass Canada is the world's second-largest country (9 970 610 km ), surpassed only by the Russian Federation.
Capital
Ottawa, in the province of Ontario.
Provinces and Territories
Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories, each with its own capital city (in brackets): Alberta (Edmonton); British Columbia (Victoria); Prince Edward Island (Charlottetown); Manitoba (Winnipeg); New Brunswick (Fredericton); Nova Scotia (Halifax); Nunavut (Iqaluit); Ontario (Toronto); Quebec (Quebec City); Saskatchewan (Regina); Newfoundland (St. John's); Northwest Territories (Yellowknife); and Yukon Territory (Whitehorse).
Geography
Diversity is the keynote of Canada's geography, which includes fertile plains suitable for agriculture, vast mountain ranges, lakes and rivers. Wilderness forests give way to Arctic tundra in the Far North.
Climate
There are many climatic variations in this huge country, ranging from the permanently frozen icecaps north of the 70th parallel to the luxuriant vegetation of British Columbia's west coast. Canada's most populous regions, which lie in the country's south along the U.S. border, enjoy four distinct seasons. Here daytime summer temperatures can rise to 35ºC and higher, while lows of -25ºC are not uncommon in winter. More moderate temperatures are the norm in spring and fall.

License Plate When the Northwest Territories was formed in 1870 it made up about 2/3 of Canada - almost twice of what it does now. Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territories were all created from its land. Latest April 1, 1999 the remaining but still huge region was cut in half, the eastern part becoming "Nunavut" (means "our land" in Inuktitut - the inuit language). Territorial seal Two major climate zones divide the Northwest Territories, the Arctic and the sub-Arctic. The sub-Arctic climate has cold winters and relatively warm, but short, summers.Temperatures fall below degrees Celsius seven months of the year. In the Arctic, the average daily temperature of the warmest month of the year does not exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 Celsius) meaning it has no so called true summers. And that is why trees can not survive there (check out treeline and tundra for more on this subject!)
