As Project Director of Science IMPACT she has been instrumental in developing the Biology and Physics Supplemental Teaching Authorization Programs, and coordinates numerous contract projects with school districts, state education programs and the private sector.
She holds a B.S. degree in Biology and an M.A. degree in Education, both from Cal Poly Pomona, as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Education from California Coast University. Her professional experiences include industrial environmental science (Engineering Science Inc., a Parsons Co.), secondary science teaching (Pasadena High School), serving as the Science and Mathematics Specialist for the Pomona Unified School District, and Program Manager of SCAMPI (Southern California Area Modern Physics Institute) at Cal Poly Pomona. Dr. Saccoman is listed in Who's Who in American Education (1995) and Who's Who Among America's Teachers (1991, 1992). She is a two time regional winner of the NASA SSIP Reach for the Stars competition.
